42 - Epic Mikaelson Reunion
Part 43
Her Life Means Everything
@mrs-fanfiction-2001 @the-big-bad-klaus @queenieala @samsgirl93
"So where exactly are we going?" Landon asked during our family driving as we got closer to Nik's favorite city New Orleans.
Glancing over to my husband since he insisted on driving. Allowing the girls and I to get some sleep on the long drive. Resting my chin in the palm of my right hand I just smiled at the thought of being back in the city finally after all these years. "Landon Kirby welcome to New Orleans."
Passing the sign we parked the car underneath the compound. Nikola turned to face him playing with her hair which was a nervous habit she got from me. "So the reason I didn't tell you where we going is because I was afraid of how you would feel about meeting...the rest of my family."
"You're family...are they scarier than him?" He stuttered, pointing a finger at Klaus.
Nik gripped the steering wheel clutching his jaw. "I'd suggest choosing your next words that come from your mouth boy carefully!"
"Nik." I warned tilting my head towards him.
He sucked in a breath placing a hand on my knee. "I'll behave myself, Maddie."
"Let's go guys." Hope broke the tension stepping out of the car heading inside and the rest of us followed.
Barely making it in the doorway a wave of blonde hair engulfed me in a warm hug that belonged to Rebekah. "I've been dying to see you again, Maddie."
"Oh Bex. I've missed you too." I replied, grinning at my sister in law. She tugged me to the dining room, handing me a glass of red wine.
Footsteps approached down the stairs where I turned my head seeing Kol and Davina who waved at me until they reached the bottom. "So you've finally returned to your kingdom, Maddie. I'm surprised that my brother let you out of his bed despite his animal urges."
"Can we seriously not have that conversation? We have a guest here Kol." I sighed covering my face with my hands.
Nikola stands beside Landon while Hope is talking with her auntie Bex. "What is he talking about?" Landon asked, clearly confused.
Klaus walks up behind me wrapping his arms around me. Leaning into his embrace I intertwined my hands with his hearing him reply to the group. "What they are referring to Kirby is the night my darling wife first saw me in my wolf form. She couldn't keep her hands off me" Glancing towards the direction of our daughter and her soulmate. "Do you remember when I said that the desire for a soulmate bond was dangerous. That is what I'm talking about. Maddie wanted me so badly that night she didn't care that I could kill her."
"Klaus, Klaus!" I called out into the woods in the middle of the night. My heart was starting to beat faster as I kept searching for my mate. It was stupid for me to a human to be out here on the night of the full moon. But I needed to see Klaus.
"Maddie!" Whipping my head around I gasped seeing Klaus leaning against the side of a tree. His eyes trained on me. "What are you doing out here? It's not safe."
Dropping my hands at my sides I sighed feeling the wind blowing through my hair. "I don't really know, Nik. I just - needed to see you."
"There are wolves out here, love. They could kill you." He tried to scare me off but the soulmate bond wasn't letting me run away.
Stepping forward I placed my hands on his shoulders feeling him shutter under my touch. "I'm standing in front of a hybrid and I'm not running."
Klaus moves his hands to my waist where I could see concern in his blue eyes. "That only means I can hurt you even more...I came out here to turn at my own free will."
"Then show me, Nik. I haven't seen a werewolf transformation yet." I blurted out grasping the fabric of his black jacket in my hands.
He removed my hands from his shoulders, intertwining them with mine. "Stay back for this, Maddie." Rubbing his thumbs over before taking some steps away from me. He quickly transformed, having every bone in his body snap and break until I came face to face with a wolf that had dark brown, almost black fur and golden eyes.
His wolf form stepped forward laying down at my feet as I lowered myself on my knees reaching forward to run my fingers through his fur. "Nik, you were wrong. I know you won't hurt me. The bond tells me that you won't." He lays his head in my lap, licking my hand making me smile. Like he was saying he knew I was right.
"So you're saying that the bond will lead us to basically go racing after each other?" Landon trailed off glancing between Nik and I.
Rebekah and Hope handing us each a glass to drink leading us over to the dinner room table. "Let's discuss that later. We've come together as a family. We should enjoy it."
"Agreed Bex." I raised my glass in the air, intertwining my hand with Nik's smile.
Kol pated Landon on the back, smirking since he was clearly nervous. "Don't worry mate. If you're interested in a Mikaelson. You'll just have to worry about the constant family bickering."
Nikola was standing on one of the open balconies resting her arms on the railing looking out over the city. Hearing footsteps approached from behind her. "You got lucky tonight with my family. This is actually the most normal night we've ever had."
"I'm just relieved I'm not a danger magnet tonight." Landon chuckled, coming to stand by her side.
She smiled tucking hair behind her ear looking at him. "Landon, I uh - would you want to be my boyfriend?"
"Considering I've kissed you some I think that makes us official." He replied, resting his hand over hers. Nikola finally kissed Landon, not worrying about the soulmate bond until tomorrow.

Title- 'Running from a good thing.'
Warnings: Fluff, Angst, Soft!Mikaelson
Pairings- Elijah Mikaelson x F!Reader x Rebekah Mikaelson
Summary- You left one stormy night hiding a secret after Hayley talked to you leaving both Elijah and Rebekah heart broken looking for you. You were now with two hunter brothers that saved you from a nest of vampires.
'They will never believe you. They won't accept it like they did Hope.'
Hayley's words rang in your head as you quickly packed, tears fell from your eyes. It hurt, the thought of leaving Rebekah and Elijah but Hayley was so sure in what she told you.
'You saw how Klaus reacted when I was pregnant with Hope. Whose to say they would be just as understanding?'
You didn't know where you could go, you couldn't return to Mystic Falls as you left behind your friends for Rebekah and Elijah. You went to New Orleans with them finding hard to live without the Originals.
When you stared dating the two Originals when they both showed interest in you, the orphan girl that Zach Salvatore took in. Elijah had informed you that it wasn't the first time the siblings shared lovers. You knew even if you went back to Mystic Falls that would be the first place they'll look.
"Lebanon, Kansas."
When the Mikaelsons came home, Rebekah rushed up to you as Elijah groaned tired sinking into the couch waiting for Rebekah to come down with you.
"Y/N is gone!" Elijah sat up all tiredness he felt went away as he joined Klaus and Kol who was looking up at Rebekah.
"Are you sure she didn't go out with Camille and Davina?"
"No Kol....her clothes are gone as if she packed up." Rebekah said as Elijah rushed up to your bedroom frowning as Hayley walked in carrying Hope on her hip.
"What's going on?"
"Y/N is gone." Klaus answered her as he and Kol watched her closely as they knew Hayley was in love with Elijah and knew how she felt about you.
"Oh yeah, she said something about a trip with old friends." Hayley said lying smoothly as Elijah frowned looking at Hayley.
"Impossible. Y/N always tells me and Rebekah if she has plans."
"Elijah, the last time she ran off like this was when her brothers learned of the relationship."
"Meaning something is wrong and she believes we wouldn't understand." Elijah said frowning as worry racked his body and Rebekah hugged Elijah hoping you were okay. Kol called Davina and Freya to come do a locater spell to find you.
A year passed since you left New Orleans and now settled with two hunters and their Angel after saving you from a nest of vampires. You missed your vampire lovers but Hayley's words would rang in your head everytime you thought of calling or going back.
"Y/N, Erik. We're home!" You heard Dean call out and you picked up the baby boy walking out smiling at Sam and Dean. Erik squealed seeing Sam reaching for the hunter who was happy to take the boy.
"Hey guys. Where's Cas?"
"Right here." Castiel said smiling at you as you hugged him. Castiel had been a huge help with Erik which Dean found to be adorably disgusting.
"How was the hunt?"
"Went by smoothly. On the way back we picked up on a new case in New Orleans." Dean said tossing Erik in the air making the baby laugh.
"Oh?" You said quietly you told the brothers about your past as to not hide anything. And to give you peace of mind they promised no big hunts in New Orleans unless needed.
"Look we know you said no hunts in New Orleans but a group of demons are up to something there."
"So Dean and I thought it would be good if you and Erik come with us. Get you both out of the bunker while we take out the demons."
"I don't know....."
"Come on. You can spoil Erik and the little guy can get some time out in the sun and fresh air."
"Okay. That sounds nice." You said giving in their puppy dog faces.
"I got dinner done by the way." You say getting cheers from Dean as Sam shook his head smiling.
The impala drove into New Orleans and you felt a bit of heart ache as the car stopped. You got out putting Erik in a baby carrier as Sam and Dean got out.
"We are going to go check out the crime scene. Here, enjoy the city we be back later to go out for dinner." Dean tells you as you nodded taking the money then watched the brothers drive off.
You walked around going to different shops as Erik babble holding your finger. A familiar face caught your attention and swallowed seeing it was Davina who smiled brightly seeing you as she jogged over.
"Y/N!? Where have you been? Rebekah and Elijah has been looking all over for you."
"Places.....humm." You said as you were unsure what to say as her eyes fell on the baby boy that looked awful like Elijah. Erik babble getting your attention as he looked at the new person.
"Y/N can you come with me?"
"De, I don't...."
"Please. I won't take you to the Abattoir. I just need to know something." Davina says as you nodded. You found yourself in Vincent's place having Erik standing in your lap bouncing. Erik was unbothered by Davina poking his finger with a needle to get his blood.
"Erik is Elijah's son."
"But how Vincent? Non of the witches did a spell for it nor did Freya." Davina tells Vincent who looked to you as you swallowed as they walked over.
"Y/N, do you know how you became pregnant?"
"No I don't....I didn't go to any witches nor did I go to Freya." You tell Vincent as Erik sat in your lap kicking his legs smiling.
"So that's why you left because of your pregnancy?"
"Yes. I'm sorry for causing trouble but I need to get going now." You say standing grabbing your bag rushing out the door as Vincent and Davina called your name.
"Y/N?" Kol whispered as you brushed pass him and Klaus both watching you hurrying away as Davina rushed out frowning seeing that you were gone.
"Davina?"
"We need to tell you something." Davina tells Klaus and Kol with a frown. You knew this was a bad idea but couldn't blame Sam and Dean as the brothers wanted what was best for you as you headed for the diner you all would meet up at.
"She had Elijah's son?!" Klaus said after calling an emergency family meeting as Vincent explained what was going on. Elijah sat in shock with Rebekah who was rubbing his hand.
"Y/N didn't tell us why?"
"That she didn't tell us." Davina says sighing as she recalls how nervous you were. Elijah stood fixing his suit jacket with unreadable look.
"Then let's find her and bring her home."
You sat in the diner with Sam and Dean talking and laughing as Dean was telling you what happened on the hunt. You were rubbing Erik's back as he slept with it being late.
"So you ran into an old friend?"
"Yeah....Davina and she most likely told everyone about Erik." You say softly looking down as Sam who was sitting next to you rubbing your back.
"Are you sure they wouldn't accept Erik? From what you told me and Sammy, Elijah and Rebekah loves you something fierce."
"Come on Dean. Hayley had a point, how would I explain that I was pregnant? They could accept Hope because they could explain it but Erik?"
"Yeah but you can find out how." Sam says taking a bite out of his salad as you blinked looking at him.
"How?"
You rocked Erik as he whimpered uncomfortable with being at a crossroads. Sam and Dean thought summoning Crowley to explain how you fell pregnant would help and of course Castiel stayed close to you and Erik not trusting demon.
"Hello moose and squirrel. Oh you brought the little rabbit." Crowley said smirking then it was wiped off his face when his eyes landed on Erik.
"You bought an Original's child with you? Are you kidding me?!" Crowley growled looking at the hunters with narrowed eyes.
"You know about Erik?"
"Yes I know about the boy! As any smart supernatural being would." Crowley says looking around nervous which made the brothers look at one another as it wasn't everyday the demon King was nervous.
"You okay there Crowley?"
"No I am not Winchester. You have both the mate of two Originals and his son so understandably I am on edge."
"Crowley. They are just vampires." Dean says as the look on Crowley's face was they hadn't seen before.
"They aren't just vampires Winchester. They could kill me without blinking these aren't like the ones you kill. They are one of the most feared beings."
"Are you serious?"
"Every. When we all heard that the son of Elijah Mikaelson had been born. Everyone knew to stay clear." Crowley said as you stepped forward after passing Erik to Castiel.
"Do you know how it was possible for me to get pregnant?"
"From my understanding there was a powerful witch that cast a spell then was killed. That is all I know." Crowley said disappearing leaving you all a bit confused.
Next morning Sam and Dean went out to see Benny who was out in the bayou asking if you wanted to join but you declined. You were walking with Erik in his baby carrier strapped to your chest as you walked though a witch's market.
"I found her Elijah." Marcel said after calling the Original when he saw you walking with bags in your hand of things for Erik.
"There she is." Rebekah breathed staring as you were looking at artists that were painting or drawing as Erik babbled smiling.
"There is your son Elijah." Klaus says as Elijah stared at the toddler strapped to you then to you. Both Rebekah and Elijah noted you had cut your hair and still had a bit of baby weight but you were still breathing taking beautiful to them.
They growled seeing a man show up next to you and how you smiled brightly at him and how the boy also smiled brightly at the man. The three Originals listen in on your conversation.
"You have bought a lot of things for Erik."
"Only the best for this little guy Cas." You tell Castiel as Erik let out an excited squeal making you look to see what he was staring at the got him all worked up. You stopped hold your breath seeing Elijah and Rebekah as both stared back.
"It seems he knows who his father is." Castiel commented as Erik was squealing reaching for the suit wearing Original.
"Yeah it seems so." You say swallowing watching they walking up to you. You had many emotions swirl in you and your heart began to ache seeing the soft look in their eyes.
You were soon back in the Abattoir holding Erik in your lap even though the boy was reaching for his father. It was just you, Rebekah and Elijah in the den as both Klaus and Kol let you three talk it out.
"Why did you run from us?" Rebekah asked she wasn't angry instead she sounded hurt, hurt that you didn't trust then enough to tell them about your pregnancy.
"Hayley said you wouldn't be as understanding as you were with her." You say softly looking away from them as in a flash Elijah was in front of you. Erik touched Elijah's face as Rebekah came sitting next to you.
"You are our lover, our beloved. Of course we would have understood. Elijah and I love you so deeply that we would die for you."
"Rebekah is right. We tore up the city looking for you." Elijah says grabbing Erik's hands smiling softly as the boy squealed putting his mouth on Elijah's hand.
"I sorry....I just...scared and Hayley told me all these things. I didn't mean to cause trouble." You said tearing up as Elijah gently took Erik and Rebekah wrapped you up in her arms.
"Shhh love. We weren't angry with you." Rebekah says her tone gentle as you sniffled feeling her kiss your head. Elijah looked at Erik seeing the boy staring back babbling softly.
"You'll be sure to visit right?" Dean asked hugging you after dropping your things off while Elijah was watching with Rebekah who was holding Erik.
"Yeah of course Dean. Thank you for everything."
"We're going to miss you and Erik." Sam says as you smiled hugging the tall hunter.
"If you both miss me too much just come to visit." You say as they nodded smiling and drove off. You turned seeing your lovers and son smiling you walked up as Elijah put an arm around you.
"No more running?"
"No more running." You promised as Elijah and Rebekah took you inside listening to Erik babble.

May I ask for a part 2 of Winchester reader and Elijah?
Yes you can☺. A part two of this so enjoy.
Pairing: Elijah Mikaelson x Winchester!F!Reader
Warnings: fluff, Elijah being a simp, angst,
Y/N was pissed after having gotten off the phone with her brothers. Y/N had been in New Orleans for two weeks going on three Y/N was healed so Dean wanted her to come back to the bunker. Since finding out about the prophecy, Dean's thought locking his big sister in the bunker was a great idea to keep her from getting pregnant while Castiel had informed him that Heaven will stop at nothing to be sure she have the child.
"Still nothing?" Elijah asked looking her over find her just gorgeous dressed in sleep shorts one of his botton up her reddish brown hair up in a messy bun with reading glasses on her nose.
"It was just Dean calling again. As for news on the baby front I have found nothing so far but I'll find something as your library is bigger than the bunker's."
"Dean wants you back home?" Elijah asked taking his suit jacket off then sliding behind her on the floor. Y/N smiled leaning back against his chest kissing the under side of his jaw.
"More like lock me away. But I am comfortable here....safe besides I have no problem having the kid as much as Dean is."
"Why are you comfortable having the baby?" Elijah couldn't help ask resting his chin on her shoulder as Y/N laced her fingers with his only doing that when she was going to remembering painful memory.
"A sense of normalcy.... you know how rough John trained me. Maybe I just want out.....to come back to you." Y/N whispered her heart aching as Elijah pulled her close gently grabbing her chin tilting her head back kissing her softly.
"I'll be your sense of normalcy, love." Elijah said softly as tears filled her eyes making her turn and hug him burying her face in his neck. Next few days Y/N was digging through books as Freya and Davina used magic to try and help.
"Where are you keeping her you bloodsucker!" Y/N heard Dean yell making her rush down stairs to find Dean pointing a gun at Elijah who was way too calm about the whole thing while Sam was watching Klaus and Kol closely.
"I am not holding Y/N against her will."
"For Chuck's sake Dean!" Y/N shouted coming down the stairs surprising Sam and Dean with how okay she looked. Elijah brighten up see his lady and finding attractive with her being angry while dressed in his shirt.
"Y/N?! Why are you still here?"
"Looking for answers about this prophecy. Now stop threatening Elijah."
"Elijah? Oh this is that Elijah." Sam said as Y/N nodded confusing Dean while Elijah felt his heart swell with joy that she talked about him. Y/N had only told Sam about Elijah not Dean as she knew how her little brother would act.
"Look we agreed to keep you in the bunker."
"No Dean, you agreed to keep me in the bunker. I didn't agree to a damn thing." Y/N said annoyed as Elijah stepped up behind her rubbing her shoulders.
"Y/N! We got something!" Davina said and Y/N was quick up the stairs with the others following.
"Is it?"
"We tried many things but Davina though of trying a spell mixing your blood with every old supernatural in New Orleans to work off that and well...." Freya trailed of as Y/N raised an eyebrow while Elijah moved next to her still hating the idea of her be touched by another.
"Elijah is the father of the child." Davina said just getting it out and everyone in the room was surprised. Elijah gently took Y/N's hand making her look at him and she blushed brightly as he kissed her knuckles with an under readable look in his mocha eyes.
"Y/N, you can't have the kid." Dean said making her look at Dean with her arms crossed.
"Why not?"
"Because you are a huntress and a baby isn't safe in this line of work." Dean said making her glare at her brother as anger flashed though her.
"I didn't choose this life Dean!" Y/N growled as Dean frowned looking at her as Kol moved to protect Davina just in case and Klaus doing the same with Freya.
"Sorry to break it to you but this is the family business."
"Is it? Or just the ghost John was chasing!? Dean, I had fucking died, went to Hell, killed and hunted. So why can't I be happy?"
"Y/N this isn't you. This is the prophecy speaking." Dean said as Y/N glared walking out of the room and her brothers followed and Elijah was quick to follow also.
"This is me Dean! A girl who had hopes and dreams! I never wanted this fucking life! Did John tell you I faked my death and ran off just so I could have a normal life?" Y/N said throwing her hunting journal at Dean who caught it noticing she hadn't wrote about monsters she hunted but her life with Elijah and what she wanted.
"For five years I was happy, for five years I had a normal life with Elijah, for five years I planned to have a baby with the man I love." Y/N said tears filling her eyes as Elijah stood shocked just as her brothers.
"But no John came and tore all away. So what if my child is the next Prophet! So what their father is a vampire! I just want something normal." Y/N said full on sobbing as everything up until then had broke what little self control she had. Elijah rushed to her side pulling her into his arms cooing softly and picked her up when he felt her legs shake.
"Please leave. When she is calm I'll have her call you." Elijah said his tone had been light but the dark glit in his eye told them all the needed to know and left. Elijah moved to the bed waiting for his girl to stop crying.
"So...so...sorry Eli." Y/N hiccupped as she slowly stopped crying. Elijah smiled gently peppering her wet face with kisses.
"No need baby even when crying your eyes out you are still beautiful. And I imagine you needed that." Elijah said making Y/N giggle wrapping her arms around him. Y/N moved so she was straddling his lap cupping his face kissing him deeply.
"Are you sure?" Elijah asked knowing were the kiss was going as he gripping her hips.
"Yes Eli.....making the feelings go away." Was all Elijah needed to hear as he kissed Y/N hungrily letting all his pent up feelings for her out. Y/N panted laying on Elijah as his fingers ran down her back.
"Wow....I forgot how amazing you were." Y/N muttered against his bare chest as Elijah chuckled pulling her up kissing her softly.
"And I forgot that you held such beauty." Elijah tells Y/N cupping her cheek rubbing it making her blush brightly. Y/N hit his chest while hiding her face in his neck.
"Getting shy on me now." Elijah teased her as Y/N nipped at his neck just below his ear making him growl flipping them over.
"Do that again and I won't go easy on you."
"Bring it.... Sir." Y/N teased Elijah nipping the spot just bel oil w his ear again and Elijah made sure she couldn't walk for a week both unaware of the new Mikaelson that will be coming into the world soon.

A Bourbon Street Wedding
Enzo St. John x Mikaelson! Reader
Part 4 of 4: ( Part One, Part Two, Part Three)
Words: 3859
Summary: The big day has finally arrived. You couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect.
Notes: I can’t believe it’s been around 3ish years since I started this series. To anyone out there who is still reading, thank you! This is the final part in my Enzo and the Originals Series and I really hope you guys enjoyed. Thank you so much for reading! Warning: So much fluff ahead. Lovey dovey fluff, family fluff, just all kinds of fluff.
-
The New Orleans’ sound did not wake you up. It was the feeling of someone looming over you as you slept that crept deep into your slumbering mind and forced you awake. Your eyes fluttered open and you screamed. Caroline stood over you, hands on her hips and rage in her eyes.
“How are you still sleeping?” She shrieked yanking the covers off of you. You groaned and turned your head to look at the alarm clock. “The wedding is only seven hours away! We need to get ready!” Enzo rolled over, covering his ears with his pillow. Caroline grabbed your hand and Enzo’s arm and dragged you out of the bed.
“Caroline, I appreciate how much you’ve done to help, but-” Enzo started groggily. Caroline shoved a bag of hair product at him and pushed him out into the hall.
“Damon got here earlier, he’s waiting downstairs for you.”
“But-”
“No, buts, we are already way behind schedule.” Caroline huffed. Her planner-face calmed and she smiled at both of you, stepping to the side so you could look at each other. “Alright, you two. This is it.” The last time you would see each other before the ceremony. You just stared at Enzo, speechless. Neither of you could even begin to know what to say, so you just laughed nervously. Caroline slammed the door. “Okay, let’s do this.”
Bonnie, Rebekah, and Hayley all burst into the room. Hayley pushed play on the stereo and music blasted, mostly cheesy romance songs that Caroline had insisted upon. Bonnie popped a bottle of champagne and Rebekah toyed with your hair while Hayley and Caroline talked about their daughters.
“Hope is staying with her grandmother this morning. Mary is bringing her later.” Hayley explained.
“Ric’s staying with the girls. He sends his best.” Caroline announced. You nodded and smiled. Alaric was your friend, despite his complicated relationship with the rest of your family. Then again, most of your friends had a complicated relationship with your family. Caroline scowled. “Stefan has elected himself as the selfless martyr who will not be attending so he doesn’t ‘cause a scene’.” She rolled her eyes. You took her hand swinging it back and forth playfully.
“You deserve better.” You noted. Bonnie raised a glass.
“Amen to that.” She handed out the drinks and the morning passed by with many giggles and indecisive arguments over what color lipstick you should wear. When all was settled, you were cast into a frenzy of makeup and hair curlers until Caroline declared your look to be ‘just right’.
Meanwhile, downstairs, a reluctant vampire stood outside the gate, tempted to turn around and run as fast as he could in the opposite direction. Of course, the first person to greet him didn’t exactly put his mind at ease.
“Damon Salvatore…” Klaus chuckled darkly. “What a pleasure to see you again.”
“Niklaus.” Elijah called from inside. “Do stop frightening the best man.” The oldest living Mikaelson came out and stood by his brother. “Hello Damon.” Damon gave the pair a reluctant wave. The magic witchy Mikaelson- one that Damon didn’t even know existed until now- invited him in and the three lead him to the room where Enzo was getting ready. Damon death-glared him as Freya went upstairs and the brothers stood on either side of him, like minions of death.
“Please tell me you’ve got bourbon.” He grumbled, side-glancing the two originals, waiting for one to pounce. Enzo watched in irritation as Damon threw his stupid, trademarked leather jacket onto the chair. Kol glared from his spot on the sofa.
“I thought we’d already gone over the guest list.” He sneered. “I would’ve made sure that this-”
“Behave yourself Kol.” Elijah warned.
“It’s nice to know none of you have changed.” Damon snarked, snatching up the bottle of bourbon on the side-table. He poured himself a drink and downed it quickly. “And neither has your taste in liquor.” Enzo growled.
“You’re here for a reason, Damon.” He groaned. “You already missed the bachelor party, now please, do something helpful.”
“You missed one hell of a night, Damon.” Kol smirked, licking his lips.
“Yeah, I heard about those call girls going missing.” Damon noted. “I’m surprised at you, Elijah. I never took you for one of us miscreants.” Elijah kept up his stoic expression, his tone betraying his slight annoyance.
“I refrained from last night's activities.”
“He was absolutely no fun.” Klaus whined. “Lovesick fool. Hayley’s practically got him on a leash.” Kol and Klaus both snickered. Elijah shook his head, but couldn’t stop himself from smiling. He really was a lovesick fool, not that he was ashamed to admit it. And with Davina and Cami both gone, he didn’t reprimand his brothers for their partying.
“I believe that I was not the only so-called ‘buzzkill’ at the party.” He pointed out, his eyes on the groom. Damon’s jaw dropped.
“Enzo?” He fake-gasped. “Has our blood-thirsty party man finally turned into a hopeless romantic?” Enzo rolled his eyes and shrugged.
“Just because I’m not a brute, doesn’t mean I’m a hopeless romantic.” He smirked. “Undeniably in love, yes. But not hopeless.”
“I think I’m going to be sick.” Kol pretended to gag. “You remember you’re speaking of my twin? I know a couple secrets about her you would not find so romantic.”
“Kol.” Elijah scolded. “We wouldn’t want Lorenzo getting cold feet now would we?”
“Yes because then I would have to remove them.” Klaus threatened, casting a dark look to the groom. Enzo gulped and began to tie his tie over his pristine white shirt. Elijah had picked it out, which meant that it was the best money could buy.
You both looked perfect. After all, this was the biggest moment in all your centuries of living. The girls gathered around you and let out a collective sigh of awe. This was it.
The guests were beginning to arrive and you felt your heart pounding, wishing that you could be with him to calm your nerves. But of course, it’s bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the ceremony and with your shared history of weddings, you needed all the luck you could get. And so you waited, tapping your foot at an alarming speed and trying to take deep breaths.
“Everything alright dear sister?” Kol wondered with a smirk, leaning against your doorway. Caroline, Rebekah, Bonnie and Hayley were all getting ready to be the perfect bridesmaids and Freya was preparing to officiate the wedding. She had been so excited when you asked her and you couldn’t think of anyone else you wanted to say the words ‘I now pronounce you husband and wife’.
“What could go wrong?” You looked at your twin and smiled nervously. Kol’s face suddenly darkened.
“Well I can think of something.” He growled. You turned to see who he was looking at and gasped. Kol stepped towards Marcel. “I don’t recall sending your invitation.”
“I just came to tell Y/N congratulations.” He held up his hands a sign of peace. “I don’t want to cause any problems. Not today.” Kol continued to loom ferociously over Marcel until you stepped in between them.
“Kol, why don’t you go make sure that Klaus hasn’t killed any of the guests? I don’t want a single speck of blood on him when he and Elijah walk me down the aisle.” You were able to shoo him away before he could object, turning back to Marcel with fiery eyes. “Of all the days you decide to make amends…”
“I’m not asking for your forgiveness for not telling you I was alive all those years.” He started. “I’m asking you not to hate me. All I want is for things to go back to the way they were before everything happened. We were pretty close friends, you and me.”
Thick as thieves, more like it. While Marcel was like a son to your older brother and a lover to Rebekah, he was always one of your dearest friends. You were devastated when you believed your father had killed him. When you discovered he was really alive, you were both relieved and furious. All those years and never once had he reached out to find you. Seeing him stand before you now erased all of your anger.
“You say it like I’ve forgotten.” You cried, pulling him into a hug. “Thank you for coming, Marcel. You don’t know how much it means to me.” You pushed away with a small smile on your face and tears in your eyes.
“Hey,” He comforted, placing a hand on your cheek. “We can’t have you crying before the wedding.”
“Would you stay?” You pleaded. “Please, Marcel. It would make this day even more perfect.” He gave you a look.
“Can you promise none of your siblings are going to try to kill me?”
“You know I can’t.” You both laughed and he agreed to stay, sneaking down into the courtyard where the ceremony was taking place. With him gone, you were alone again and the unstoppable nerves returned. “Come on, Y/N. You have faced centuries of trials and vicious enemies. You’re just-”
“Pledging to spend the rest of eternity with someone with probably as much emotional baggage as yourself?” Klaus finished, stepping into the room. Elijah had managed to get him into a suit and he completed it with his famous mischievous grin.
“Shouldn’t you be downstairs with Elijah?” You put your hands on your hips.
“Oh come now, don’t be so cross. It is, after all, the happiest day of your life.” He replied smugly. “I simply wanted a word with you before the festivities begin.” He led you to sit on one of the sofas, taking your hand in his own.
“What’s this about, Nik?”
“I know that I have been… difficult these past centuries.” He smirked and you couldn’t help but laugh in agreement. “The truth is, Y/N, that I am completely afraid of losing your love to someone else. But I have seen the way you are with Enzo and I simply cannot bring myself to take it away from you. I may be a selfish bastard, but even I do not wish to see you unhappy. I wish you the most joyous life, Y/N.”
“Klaus,” You placed a kiss on your brother’s shoulder. “My love for you will never falter or diminish, no matter how much of a thorn in my side you are.” He gave you the loving smile that you often wished to see more of. Klaus was troubled and all you hoped for was that one day he would find the kind of happiness you had found with Enzo.
“You look stunning.” Elijah noted from the doorway. He held out his arm. “Shall we?” Klaus and you stood and the three of you walked down to where you would be entering. Caroline and Bonnie would be first, then Rebekah with Damon, and Kol insisted on announcing you like some kind of queen. You were pretty sure he just wanted to get a laugh out of the crowd before you walked down the aisle. Of course, it was just nice to have your twin want to take part.
You could feel yourself trembling as Caroline and Bonnie started walking. Rebekah and Damon were bickering even as they began down the aisle. You took shaky breaths and felt Elijah chuckle.
“Everything is going to be fine.” He assured you.
“You know, it’s never too late for me to kill him.” Klaus whispered and you elbowed his side. Kol gave you one final smirk before heading out to the front of the space.
“Ladies and gentlemen!” He greeted. “You are all here to celebrate the union between Enzo St. John and my beautiful sister, Y/N Mikaelson. Us being twins, I could share a great deal of stories about Y/N…” He looked back towards you and you glared at him. “But that will have to wait until the reception. Now, without further adieu,” He had an exceptionally smug smile on his face now and you couldn’t help but roll your eyes at his final words. “Here comes the bride.”
Enzo finally was allowed to turn around as the music began to play. His heart leapt and his breath hitched. You were the most gorgeous thing he had ever seen. In fact, gorgeous wasn’t even the right word for it. Nothing could describe how you looked as you walked towards him. As if his eyes alone had calmed you, you felt your nerves wash away and the brightest smile spread across your face as you took the first step down the aisle. The faces of your closest friends turned towards you and with each step, you felt emotions bubbling up inside. As you reached the end, Klaus gave you a wink before taking his place beside Damon, removing a stake for his pocket.
“Klaus!” You hissed. He gave you a mischievous grin.
“Couldn’t resist.” He said, Damon taking the stake from him. Elijah lifted your veil and you felt a tear roll down your cheek. He smiled and wiped it away, placing a kiss on your forehead.
Freya beamed at you as she greeted the crowd and thanked them for coming to witness your union. Enzo couldn’t take his eyes off of you. The ceremony itself was simple and you and Enzo stared into each other’s eyes the entire time.
“May I have the rings?” Your oldest sister asked. Damon handed Enzo your ring and Rebekah handed you his. “The couple has prepared their own vows.” Freya nodded for you to begin and you took a deep breath, taking both of his hands in yours.
“The first day we met, you were trying to kill my best friend. However, just a few years previous so had I.” You laughed through the tears now freely falling down your face. “I thought that the only promise I would make was to my family. Our code of always being there for each other, and although it has been tested- multiple times-” You shot Klaus a look. “I want to extend that to you. I promise to love you and to protect you and cherish you. Always and forever.” You slid the ring onto his finger and laughed to yourself, wiping away the tears. You looked into his eyes to see that he was crying too.
“I didn’t know what it was like to be loved.” He began and for a moment you thought he’d blubber more than you had. He always was a romantic. But he composed himself as best he could. “Until I met you. You saw past all of the bloodshed in my past. All of my pain and anger. You had had your fair share of hurt over the years and you decided to take a broken soul and mend it. You saved me.” He took a deep breath, feeling a tear roll down his cheek. “And I plan to spend the rest of our lives trying to repay you for the love that you’ve shown me. Always and forever.” He put the ring on your finger and you both laughed at how emotional you both were. Freya smiled.
“What are you waiting for? Kiss her.” The crowd erupted in applause as Enzo dramatically pulled you into his arms and lowered you into a dip before kissing you for the first time as your husband.
-
The reception was held at Rousseau’s, which was heavily decorated with roses and lights to the point that it no longer looked like a bar, but something from a fairy tale. Again, the handy work of Caroline. Klaus watched Caroline from his seat at the head table as everyone waited for you and Enzo to arrive.
“Now that Lorenzo is officially family, I recommend you don’t give him the same treatment that you gave us for the past few centuries.” Elijah straightened his cufflinks with a smile, giving Klaus a side glance.
“Of course not, Elijah. The daggers don't work on him.” Klaus grinned mischievously. “Although, there’s always the crypt in the basement.”
“Don’t even think about it.” Rebecca chimed in. Elijah looked across the table to Hayley, feeling a deep desire to one day have this with her. To have the happiness that his sister was now experiencing. Hayley saw him and smiled, her eyes lighting up his soul, or whatever was left of it. Perhaps one day...
The doors opened and the newlyweds entered. You still couldn’t quite believe it. In all your years of living, you couldn’t think of a moment when you were half as happy as you were now. Enzo’s fingers were laced with yours as you walked towards the main table, seeing the smiles on your friends and family’s faces. The guests cheered as you took your seats. Dinner was quickly served and it wasn’t long before Rebecca stood, tapping her glass with her spoon to get the room’s attention.
“Ah yes, it is time for the dreaded speeches.” She announced with a smile. “Being the maid of honor, I am obligated to speak for my dear older sister. And since I have over a thousand years of stories, it was difficult to pick just one. I succeeded however, in finding a memory that I believe best describes my sister.
“She and Elijah were the only two to escape Klaus without being daggered and shoved into a box.” She gave Klaus a brief glare before continuing. “In the late 1800’s, when I awoke, many things had changed. People I loved turned their back on me.” Her eyes came across Marcel, but didn’t linger for long. “Elijah reintroduced me back into society, but it was Y/N who helped me nurse a broken heart. She made me believe in my own strength again. Y/N showed me the love that only an older sister could. I am beyond delighted that her heart has finally found its equal.” She looked at Enzo happily and feigned a scowl. “But know that should anything happen to her, you will not only have my brothers to worry about.”
“Duly noted.” Enzo nodded, his hand having never left yours. All eyes were now on the best man. Damon took a long drink from his glass and stood reluctantly.
“There isn’t a lot I can say about Enzo before him and Y/N met. When Enzo and I first knew each other we were prisoners. We were trapped together, tortured together, and experimented on.” You felt Enzo’s grip on your hand tighten at the memory. “When I got my chance to escape, I took it. I betrayed him. Decades later, he swore revenge on me and tried to kill my girlfriend.” Reading the confusion in the crowd, he smirked. “Don’t worry, this bromance has a happy ending.”
“Of sorts.” Enzo whispered to you and you both laughed quietly.
“My point is that Enzo hated my guts until Y/N got him to forgive me. I believe her words were ‘There are better ways to spend an eternity than seeking revenge. Especially against an old friend.’ Anyway, here I am and here they are, so I guess we all know the end of that story.” Damon glanced at you and despite his usual smirk, you could see the sincerity in his eyes. “Elena was always rooting for the two of you to end up together, so that meant I have to too.” The crowd chuckled at his last comment, but you stood up from your chair and pulled the snarky vampire into a hug.
“Thank you, Damon.” You whispered. “I miss her too.” You felt him return the embrace and smile sadly against your cheek.
“She would have loved this, you know. All the gushy romance and twinkling lights.” He said, fixing a hair that had fallen out of place and tucking it behind your ear. You nodded.
“You’ll have this with her someday, Damon. And when you do, I will be the one giving the speech.”
“Over my dead body, Mikaelson.” He snarked. “But I guess is Mikaelson St. John now. Jeez, that’s a mouthful.”
“Sit down, Salvatore.” You shook your head in amusement. As you went back to your seat beside your husband, you noticed a member of the wedding party’s chair was empty. A rush of panic shot through you. “Elijah, where’s Klaus?”
All of your siblings turned to the vacant seat and their eyes widened. Everyone started to split up to go find him before he could cause any trouble.
“I’ll go get Caroline, she went to the bathroom.” Bonnie said, taking off in the direction of the restrooms. You and Enzo decided to check the kitchen but were not at all prepared for what you would find. Sure enough, there was Klaus. And Caroline. On the counter. You quickly shut the door, trying to contain your laughter. You took Enzo’s hand and headed back to the table, grinning like an idiot.
“Well it’s about time.”
-
As the night slowly died down, Enzo clinked his glass to acquire the crowd’s attention. Everyone focused on him as he stood, shooting you a bright smile.
“May I have everyone’s attention? First and foremost I would like to thank each of you for coming out to celebrate this wondrous occasion. Some of you are from this beautiful city, and some came all the way from a small town called Mystic Falls.” He turned to Damon and smirked before returning his loving gaze to you. “But to end the night, I wanted to say a few words to my new wife, Y/N.” You felt the blush rise to your cheeks and the warmth rush over you.
“A few months ago, I discovered who my family was. As it turns out, after a century of searching and hoping, they turned out to be a bunch of thieves and betrayers. No resemblance to me, I’m sure.” The room laughed. “I’ll admit that I was crushed. But now, the Mikaelsons have accepted me into their family, some more willing than others.” Klaus shrugged with a smirk, still flushed from his little rondevu earlier.
“I almost had you.” He teased. Enzo continued, holding his hand out for you, lifting you to stand beside him.
“None of this would have happened if it wasn’t for the brilliant, caring, incredibly sexy-” he winked and you giggled, “most wonderful girl that came into my life when I thought I had no reason left to live.” You laid a hand on his shoulder, feeling tears start to well up in your eyes as they started to in his. “She made me see that maybe there was a slight shred of hope in this eternity we were both stuck with. Y/N became my world. A world I would do anything to protect.” His hand slipped into yours. “Now we may have our disagreements, and I’m sure we have a long road of bickering and evading certain doom.” He held up his glass in one last toast for the night. “So here’s to one hell of a forever.”

Buffy Summers managed to stop yet another apocalypse not that there was ever any doubt that she would win, she always wins. Although, to be fair this time around her hometown of Sunnydale was destroyed during the big battle and what once was a beautiful Californian town looked like nothing more than a tribute to the Grand Canyon leaving Buffy and her friends homeless.
Luckily, the blonde-haired vampire slayer knew of a certain vampire with a soul called Angel who happened to live in a semi-decaying hotel located in Los Angeles, and after a quick and awkward phone call with the vampire she once loved Buffy, her friends, her loved ones, and her fellow slayers made their way to L.A. to seek refuge with Angel and his team at the Hyperion Hotel.
Angel well and truly had his hands full at the Hyperion Hotel after rejecting Wolfram and Hart’s offer, his city always kept him busy with its many supernatural creatures, but he also had the complicated mission of trying to wake the woman he loved from her supernaturally influenced coma.
So, when Buffy, his former love, called him up looking for a place to stay briefly he was more than willing to oblige, hoping Buffy and her team could help in waking Cordy up.
Cordelia Chase had gone from being a spoiled rich girl at Sunnydale High School, to the vision’s girl at Angel Investigations to a half human, half demon, hybrid that found herself getting possessed by a rogue member of the powers that be called Jasmine, the latter using a magical pregnancy to give birth to herself, sending Cordy into a coma shortly after giving birth.
Cordelia was the heart of Angel Investigations and it was struggling to operate without her, her friends and loved ones, were struggling to cope without her and so, Angel, Wesley, Fred, and Gunn were more than thrilled to have guests at the hotel who could lend a helping hand.
Faith Lehane had also gone through many changes herself, going from being a rogue slayer pitting herself up against Buffy, to finding redemption with the help and patience of Angel. So, after becoming Buffy’s ally once again, and helping her defeat the first in Sunnydale, the brunette Boston born slayer was more than happy to check into the Hyperion Hotel and catch up with her old friend Angel, especially after hearing the tall, dark, and handsome, vampire with a soul, needed help in waking Cordelia from a coma.
Buffy, Angel, and both their teams, sure proved to be the big help that Angel Investigations needed with the night-to-night hunting, and patrolling, however, the mission to awake Cordelia Chase struggled to pick up momentum which Cordelia herself began to grow impatient about as her fragmented spirit began appearing to them all frequently, complaining, and eager to get back into her comatose body.
Willow Rosenberg searched every grimoire, book, and magic shop to find a magical solution to Cordelia’s coma until eventually she came up with the idea to cast a spell which would not only summon Cordelia’s spirit but would force said spirit to return to her body. The spell in question required a non-beating heart, horns from a near extinct demonic species, and the translation of a long-forgotten language.
Willow waited for a reasonably quiet night to perform the spells she believed would bring Cordelia back to her body, waiting until it was just her, Buffy, Angel, and Faith in the hotel and gathered them all within the grand foyer of the hotel, as they each sat down on the floor in a circle, while Willow held a book in her hands, ready to cast her magic, ready to bring Cordelia Chase back.
The first spell to summon Cordelia’s spirit was performed, cast, and executed to perfection by the brilliant red headed wonder witch, however, the second spell to return Cordelia to her comatose body went a little awry as Willow accidentally opened a portal to a whole other dimension, a portal which wound up pulling Cordelia’s spirit into, as well as Buffy, Angel, and Faith before closing itself and leaving Willow completely alone, and without any idea of where they went, or how to get her friends back.
“Way to go Wills, now where the hell did, she send us this time?” Faith wondered as she, Buffy, Angel, and Cordelia found themselves, picking themselves up off the ground within the bayou in New Orleans late at night, each of them completely confused as to where Willow’s spell had sent them to. “I think it is safe to say we’re definitely not at the Hyperion Hotel, and knowing our luck we’re probably not even in Los Angeles.” Buffy replied to her, as she looked around the bayou, attempting to piece together where they were. “Hey! I’m back to being solid again!” Cordelia screeched with excitement as she threw her arms around Angel and pulled him in for a hug, the two of them equally as excited to see and feel each other once again. “Enough of the sickeningly sweet reunion time, we all know what happens when you get happy Angel.” Faith warned Angel, as she pulled him out of Cordelia’s arms, eagerly breaking off their hug. “You’ll lose your soul, then Cordy becomes food to soulless you, and me and B wind up tossing a coin to see which slayer takes you down this time around. “Well at least Willow’s spell to put you back in your body clearly worked.” Buffy stated to Cordelia, before the questioning slayer turned her attention to Angel. “You did not store her body in the woods, did you?” “No, I never!” Angel denied nervously, as he noticed a disapproving glare from Cordelia. “Not like you can blame him if he did, I mean maybe the big man’s still a little pissed about you bumping uglies with his son, I mean did you not used to change his diapers?” Faith teased Cordelia, more than happy to stir the pot between Cordelia and Angel. “Firstly, that was some wacky super powered bitch called Jasmine who not only hijacked my body but got me pregnant just to give birth to herself. Secondly, I would never sleep with his son when not possessed…stupid rogue powers that be hussy!” Cordelia snapped back at Faith, clearly disgusted. “I swear those powers that be can go straight to hell!” “As fun as this is, how about we change the topic and find a way back to the hotel?” Angel suggested to the women, more than eager to change the conversation about his son Connor’s past with the woman he loved. “Yeah, I don’t really want to hear about my ex’s love triangle with my high school classmate and his adult son.” Buffy agreed with the brooding vampire. “Straight to hell, you hear me?” Cordelia screamed upwards towards the clouds, hoping the powers that be were listening and heard her fury. As the foursome decided to explore their whereabouts it did not take them very long to find their way out of the bayou and learn that they were in the city of New Orleans, the only thing they did not know was the fact that they were no longer in their world, they were now in the Mikaelsons’ world…
Preliminary Round: Part Two

Josh Rosza had been through a lot since turning into a vampire, going from being a club kid turned vampire to best friend to the young harvest witch Davina Claire to the boyfriend of werewolf Aiden, but the hardest change in his life that he had to adjust to was losing his first love at the hands of a wicked witch called Dahlia, a loss that at first he blamed Klaus Mikaelson for.
Josh was never particularly popular with any of the original family of vampires and neither did he want to be, knowing all too well that friends of the Mikaelson siblings tended to quickly turn into foes before winding up permanently dead at their hands but all that had changed over the last few months following the notorious family defeating Dahlia.
Following Camille O Connell’s unexpected departure from New Orleans, Josh had managed to take over her job bartending at Rousseau’s which meant dealing with all kinds of clientele including none other than the hybrid Klaus Mikaelson himself, who had become a regular while drowning his sorrows every night since Cami had left.
Fear was quickly taken over by fascination as Josh’s reluctance to grow close to any original began to dwindle as friendship quickly grew between Josh and Klaus, a friendship which had started out with two lonely hearts before developing into something much deeper, a bond truly cherished by them both.
Klaus Mikaelson tended not to make friends easily mostly due to the fact he did not want to and even when the original hybrid did make the occasional friend it was never too long before he either watched them be murdered or they displeased him in some kind of way leading to him killing them.
However, following Cami’s decision to leave New Orleans behind for good, the fact Hayley Marshall had moved away with his daughter Hope and his brother Elijah was not currently talking to him, Klaus was in need of some kind of company and he found that and more with newbie vamp turned bartender Joshua Rosza.
Klaus found himself spending more and more time with Josh as a regular at Rosseau’s until the two unlikely companions quickly found themselves developing a friendship made from two lonely hearts graduating into something deeper and before long the original hybrid would come to think of the vampire bartender as his best friend, a friendship which Klaus valued greatly and would protect at any cost.
Rebekah Mikaelson had been granted her freedom from always having to be by her brother’s side, forced to endure heartbreak after heartbreak as Klaus put his needs and wants before her own time and time again, but now she was free and yet it did not feel like it to the original female vampire.
Rebekah had been travelling the world in search of a way to bring her brother Kol back, chasing leads from her older sister Freya, hoping to find some magical remedy to restore her family, but as the months went by and the leads grew thinner the original was starting to run out of steam and her warring brothers Klaus and Elijah was doing anything but making her feel free from her family entanglements.
So, Rebekah decided it was time to pay her family a little visit to reconcile Elijah and Klaus’ brotherhood having had to step in many times before, like when they thought over Tatia then squabbled over Katherine Pierce, as the blonde haired immortal beauty just found herself being thankful that this time her brothers weren’t fighting over another bloody doppelgänger.
Elijah Mikaelson had spent a thousand years sticking by his brother Klaus’ side, cleaning up his messes, and attempting to keep the rest of his family in line but after Klaus used their aunt Dahlia to cast a werewolf curse on Hayley, the woman he loved, he was done fighting by his brother’s side and although Hayley forgave Klaus after New Orleans’ regent witch Davina Claire broke the curse, Hayley decided to move away with Hope.
Hayley Marshall still popped into New Orleans as her and Klaus shared custody over their daughter Hope but she lived there no longer and although she did not live far from the city she lived far enough away to start a new life, a life that Elijah Mikaelson was no longer a part of much to his own heartbreak.
Elijah knew he could not blame Klaus entirely for Hayley’s decision to move but he also knew the curse sure did not help things, in fact if anything he believed it determined her decision and with her now gone and Rebekah too, Elijah was running out of reasons to remain forever by Klaus’ side.
Freya Mikaelson had taken to the oldest sibling role a little far too well and she had started to feel the weight that came keeping a family like hers from killing each other. Not only did the Mikaelson witch have to play mediator between a warring Elijah and Klaus but she was also using her expertise to try and help her youngest sibling Rebekah to find a way to resurrect Kol.
Family was not Freya’s only struggle however as she tried to stop Davina Claire and her vampire father figure Marcel Gerard from declaring war on her siblings every other day, while finding unlikely common ground with Vincent Griffiths in restoring their city for the better as well as keeping her promise to her brother Finn, one that meant finding him a suitable body that would require minimal violence if possible.
Freya literally had everything on her shoulders and was trying her hardest to wear it well, so the last thing that she wanted, needed, or even expected, was the arrival of two so-called vampire slayers, a demon, and a vampire with a so-called soul.

CLOSED STARTER for @ofslythcrins
Today started off great and radiated that nothing bad won’t happen today, oh how Marzena was SO wrong.
So much pain radiated throughout the witch’s body as she watched the Headmaster fall to his death. Not even bothering to tell the students to move out of the way, Marzena managed to get to where the wizard’s body laid and instantly broke down. “No ... no, Merlin please no.” She muttered it over and over again like a manta; hoping for this to be some nightmare. The Pendragon witch fell down to her knees and crawled over to Albus Dumbledore whose eyes were still open but no longer filled with life in them. This man ... he was one of the wizard’s Marzena had looked up to the most. He was there for the witch when her parents and brother had fallen in the last Wizarding World. He was there for the witch when she felt her powers become unstable and guided her with books of Magic of the Old World. Hell, Headmaster Dumbledore was an honored guest at her wedding. Before Marzena could process anything more she felt a familiar presence and she looks over to see a student of her’s -- Harry. “He’s ...” She didn’t have it in her to finish the sentence and that is when Harry’s face became stained with tears as well. Raising a hand to Dumbledore’s face, she closes his eye lids and that only made the witch sob harder. Though her grieving was cut short as she noticed many witches and wizards, both students and professors raising their wands to the air in memory for him and -- a gasp escaped Marzena’s lips when she looked up to see HIS dark mark high in the dark clouds. Rising quickly to her feet the woman’s first instinct was to run straight to her cottage outside of the school -- to her daughter. Not saying another word to anybody Marzena quickly ran away from the crowd and to her home. She refused to stop for anybody or anything, but seeing Hagrid’s hut on fire made Marzena run faster than she ever could before.
Bursting through the front door of the cottage and shutting the door right behind here Marzena didn’t bother to stop there. “Davina!” She calls out throughout the house. NOTHING. Panic began to rise even more so in her and she ran a hand through her dark long locks. The witch walks past the present she was going to give to her husband of the surprised news that her hostile uterus decided to work once again seven years shy after having their miracle daughter. “Davina Lilith!” Slamming her daughter’s bedroom door wide open, she began to search frantically for the little girl and her search came to an end to find the red head witch when she found Davina hiding in the darkest corner of her closet. It broke her heart to see Davina coward down to the ground with her head between her knees and somehow clutching the teddy bear Aleister gave her tight. Relief washed over Marzena to see her daughter in one piece and not a scratch on her head. “Oh Dav -- “ She brought her daughter’s tiny frame to her’s and held onto her tight. “Mommy! What’s happening?” The young witch sobbed into Marzena’s chest. The Pendragon didn’t have the heart to tell her that Dumbledore had passed away and what Marzena had gravely feared finally came true. She pulls the crying child away from her chest to wipe away her tears. “H -- Hagrid told me to run and I didn’t know where to go -- I’m so sorry if I scarred you Mama...” Just hearing her daughter like this and apologizing, Marzena forced a small smile on her face despite the tears in her own eyes. “Don’t you apologize for doing what you were told Davina, that was very brave of you.” Embracing the ginger witch into a tight hug Marzena picks her off the ground and began to walk back to the living room. She needed to get the two of them out of there and knew Aleister would catch up -- oh Aleister. Marzena came to a complete stop as she knew she shouldn’t leave without him, but Marzena could hear him now saying to go on without him and he’ll catch up. “Let me get this started honey.” She places Davina back down as the child continued to hold onto her teddy bear tight and revealed she was holding a card she made for her father, informing him she was promoted to big sister.
Hearing a knock on the door and before Marzena could do anything, Davina ran towards it screaming out, “Daddy!” It all happened so fast for the Pendragon witch and her heart sunk even lower when it wasn’t Aleister on the other side of the door. “Davina, get away from there!” Marzena jerks her daughter back towards her body as a familiar face entered the house who wore the dark mark proud on her arm. “Hello Bellatrix.” She always hated the witch and loathed her even more when the woman became a Death Eater for HIM. “What brings you here?” Marzena practically kept a death grip on Davina as the deranged witch kept her eyes on them. It was almost as if they were the prey and she the predator. “I heard dear ole’ Allie got hitched and spawned a child with you,” her voice just as crazy as herself. “and she is quite hideous, are you sure she is his? Or ... yours for that matter? She must be one of the ugliest lookin’ half bloods that I have laid eyes on and that includes you, Lazar.” Bellatrix let out a giggle before becoming serious. “Bring him in.” Marzena’s eyes then dart to the door to see Lucius bringing in Aleister by the arm with an unfathomed look on his face.
The Pendragon witch kept her daughter close as more Death Eaters entered their home. She was thinking of strategies in her, of ways how to get both Davina and her husband out of there. “Let him go, Bellatrix -- please.” She never thought she would have to talk this way to the deranged woman and knew it was a long shot.

Chapter Summary: Klaus finally gets to introduce Maleny to his daughter, and if he gets lucky he might even get to steal a little something from Maleny too.
Cami wearily watched Davina and Kol practicing a spell of some sort that would hopefully protect Amarrah from Esther's planned spell. The compound was practically left in her care, along with Marcel, but she was really in no mood to be feeling the happy leader.
"It's finished," Davina announced and put down the spelled doll they'd been working on, "but I'm afraid it's not enough to protect Amarrah's body from Esther's magic."
Kol smirked, "I might know a way to distract you from your troubled mind?"
Cami rolled her eyes, "Knock it off," she ordered them, "We're on the clock, remember? I don't think you'd like to join Finn in and coffin if you fail this spell."
Davina frowned, "Cami, calm down, I told Maleny I was gonna help Amarrah and that's what I plan to do."
"I'll let it slide," Kol calmly said before flashing Cami a smirk, "She's just mad she wasn't invited to wherever Klaus and Maleny left off to."
Cami crossed crossed her arms, glaring at the teen. Davina elbowed Kol in the ribs, "Don't be rude."
Cami silently looked away, trying to find as way to make it look like it hadn't affected her. She really hadn't understood why Klaus told her she wasn't going to the safe house. Klaus had even said it wasn't even his own request but Elijah's. With that sole comment, he'd managed to hurt Cami in a thousand ways. Why wouldn't Elijah want her to go?
"So, how's it going here?" Amarah joined the group, "Esther can jump anybody into my body right now and that does not make me happy in the least."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, but she's not going to jump anybody," Kol reminded her, "She's going to jump Rebekah, who just happens to be miles away."
"Somehow, that doesn't make me feel better," Amarrah crossed her arms, "Please, just keep working."
"Are you sure you don't want to call your family in France?" Davina asked before getting the spell back on track. Amarrah had mentioned earlier the idea of contacting her mother about the spell.
"I decided against it in the end," Amarrah sighed, "I don't want to worry her. She sent me here to protect Maleny, and the last thing she needs to know about is me getting involved into all this trouble to the point of losing my body. I think for now it's best to keep all this a secret."
"Good call," Davina smiled.
Amarrah then noticed the quiet demeanor Cami had put on and questioned her about it, "Are you okay? You've been extra quiet all day."
"It's nothing," Cami weakly attempted hiding her own feelings, "Just...it's bit lonely right now."
"Get used to it, love," Kol said bluntly, garnering confused looks back, "Fair warning, Cami: Klaus, Rebekah, Elijah... they were always a party of three. No room for anyone at the table, so don't think for a second Elijah will ever include you."
Overwhelmed with the sudden wounding words, Cami rushed off. Amarrah glared at Kol, "Seriously? Was there a need for that?"
Kol shrugged, "The quicker she learns the better for her. The only reason Maleny is included is because she was with us from the start - and because somehow my cold-hearted brother has managed to love precisely her."
Amarrah shook her head disapproving of him and went off to find Cami instead.
"Hey, I know your upset with your siblings but that doesn't mean you can be rude to Cami," Davina snapped at Kol, "Out of everyone she's the least culpable in all this."
Kol rolled his eyes, "I'm only telling her the truth. It's best she knows how things run before she ends up in a coffin - oh wait, she's not me, therfore she'll be actually dead."
Davina didn't even want to think about Cami dying, especially because of the Mikaelsons. But in a logical perspective, Kol's words did have some truth.

Rebekah was busy tending to some firewood in their safe house down in Arkansas. Elijah, meanwhile, sat on the porch of the house with the months old Hope in her baby seat.
"It's alright, Elijah. She won't break," Rebekah called to her brother, "Everything you did was in the name of protecting her. I'm not worried," she knew he was still trying to adjust to host newfound imprisonment after his incident in the diner.
As Elijah finally picked up baby Hope, he studied Rebekah's placement of wood, "Is that what I think it is?"
With a great big smile, Rebekah whirled around , and headed back, "It's bonfire season! And I am reviving a family tradition! Especially since we're all going to be together."
"Only because we're fleeing from one of our deranged parents. Another Mikaelson tradition. It's a peculiar thing- never to be tired, yet forever exhausted by the sameness of things. Why is our family always at war?"
Rebekah's smiled faded only slightly, " I don't know. But, being away with her made me see things differently," she touched Hope, "We're not so bad. We're not the monsters that our parents think we are."
At that moment, a black SUV pulled up into the driveway, but before it could actually park, Hayley practically jumped out of the car and dashed to go see Hope. A couple seconds later, after the car had actually stopped, Klaus and Maleny got out as well.
"See this is why I told you I should've driven," Maleny was in the middle of saying to Klaus as he hurried to go see Hope as well, "Then you could've jumped out like Hayley did."
"Shut up, Mal," Hayley said in almost sing-song voice as she held her baby daughter in her arms.
"Hey, watch your words around that one. You know what they say, babies repeat everything they hear."
"Maleny Rowan, is that possible?" Rebekah was both awed and stunned to see her old friend back with them, in the full flesh.
Maleny smiled brightly and hurried to greet the blonde Original with a tight hug, "You know me, the possible was never my thing!"
Rebekah laughed and pulled away to fully grasp the situation, "You know, when Cami told me she was gonna be looking for you - the actual you - I couldn't believe it. You're back! Look at you!"
"And hopefully here to stay," Maleny added quieter, preferring to leave bad talks for later. Her eyes drifted to Hayley and Klaus who were practically smothering Hope with hugs and kisses.
After everything was settled, a discussion about the newest of things began in the mean time more wood was brought for the bonfire.
"Curse on the first-born?" Rebekah repeated the confusing words, "What the bloody hell is that supposed to mean?"
"Well, according to Finn, our sister Freya didn't die of plague," Klaus explained, "She was taken as payment by our aunt Dahlia, who then cursed all Mikaelson first-borns for eternity."
Hayley looked horrified as she heard more and more, "Is any of this true?"
"It is if we are to believe Finn, who learned it from the bastion of truth- our mother," Elijah reminded of their problematic brother
"Well, no wonder Finn hates us," Rebekah raised her eyebrows in amusement, "He lost the sister he adored, and instead got a judgy pack of siblings who found him unbearably dull."
"Great. So, is there any chance of us running into your loony aunt Dahlia any time soon?" Hayley dreaded the idea of the woman coming after Hope.
"The fable's over a thousand years old. Dahlia is long dead." Elijah dismissed the idea.
"Like Esther?"
"No one's going to hurt Hope, because no one's going to find her," Klaus declared and stood up from the front porch steps.
Around that time Maleny came in from the back of the house carrying more wood in her arms, "You know," she began when she dropped the wood into the pit, "I'm pretty sure leaving the only one who's technically still alive and without supernatural strength to bring in heavy wood is a bad idea," she turned to face the others, making a face, "There is something moving inside my shoe…"
Rebekah chuckled at her and walked over, "My bad…"
"Yeah, you're bad," Maleny scowled and shook her left foot, "Seriously though, there's enough wood to burn down the entire state of Arkansas. What are we gonna do?"
"A bonfire of course," and excitedly Rebekah looked at her siblings, "and were just missing a key ingredient!"
Immediately Klaus understood and shook his head, "No, we're not."
"Yes, we are, Nik! Back me up, Elijah!"
Elijah laughed, "I suspect Niklaus would rather choke on the ashes."
Hayley and Maleny exchanged confused glances before Hayley asked, "What are you all talking about?"
"Well, before we light it, we write down our wishes for each other to burn for luck!" Rebekah exclaimed, "It was Kol's favorite part when we were kids!"
"It's further evidence as to why we should ignore it!" Klaus snapped.
"I don't know, I haven't done that in centuries," Maleny remarked in thought.
"Exactly," Rebekah swung her arm around Maleny's shoulders, "Celebrating Mal's back, we're all together and with Hope. You really gonna turn that down, Nik?" she shot a smirk to her brother.
As Klaus sent her a glare, Maleny grew more excited, "You're not right?" she asked as well, "Plus, you still owe me for what you and we Davina did earlier. I'm still crossed, do not forget and - oh!" she jumped in her spot, "The thing's moving up my ankle! Ew!" she made way for the house but not before stopping at the open doorway and calling out, "We're doing it! Go!"
"I'm on board with it," Hayley smiled and went for the house as well.
Rebekah smiled smugly at Klaus and made way to him and Elijah, "Guess that settles that," she clapped her hands together. Klaus rolled his eyes and turned for the house, preferring to spend time with Hope, when Rebekah called again, "I'm glad to see Mal's truly back and how she's already influencing you for the better. And while we're here I'd like to apologize, sincerely," intrigued, Klaus turned back around, waiting for Rebekah to continue, "I really did think you had done something to Maleny back in the village and disappeared her. I was so completely wrong and for that I'm sorry."
Klaus nodded his understanding, "I can be what you may but I would never hurt her," he spoke honestly.
Rebekah looked at Elijah, both smiling, "Well then, what the hell are you waiting for?" the blonde asked, or demanded as Klaus judged.
"What?"
Amused by Rebekah's over excitement, Elijah explained better what his sister was trying to say, "I believe what Rebekah is trying to say is why you are...wasting time with Maleny? You're not one to wait, brother. Patience has never been one of your virtues."
Klaus made a face that expressed his agreement at the last remark, "And it never will be," he sighed, "It's a little complex-"
Rebekah snorted, "Not from where we stand."
"A lot has happened since then, Rebekah."
Rebekah put her hands on her hips, "So that's it, then? You're...giving up? That's never been an option for you - what the hell has happened to you?"
Elijah put a hand on Rebekah's shoulder, pleading her with a sharp look to be more serious about the issue, "I believe what our sister is trying to say is this has never been one of your acts before. What's the difference?"
Klaus glanced back to the house in case Maleny was returning. Seeing they were safe, he felt more at liberty to express his true thoughts and concerns, "Back then I didn't know it was Maleny inhabiting the bodies of most of the women I met before. While it hurt to lose them it was never something that truly stuck. But this time is different - it's so different," he stepped forwards, "She's afraid of...the idea of 'us'. I make one wrong move, say one wrong word and she can vanish from my reach. The first time I lost her was unbearable...I don't want to feel that again, especially when so much is at stake with us right now."
"I don't think it's a risk you'll be losing at," Rebekah smirked. It wasn't every day she saw Klaus looking like...any other man scared of loving freely. It was definitely novelty.
"I agree with Rebekah," Elijah nodded, "I suggest you simply have a calm talk with Maleny. Nothing will ever be resolved if you don't talk."
Klaus didn't like being advised nor lectured on details of his love life and so out came his mischievous side, "I sure will. And while we're on that topic, you may want to have a word with Cami. She wasn't very happy to hear of your request to leave her behind."
Rebekah's brow furrowed and immediately looked at her brother, "What?"
"Take your own advice, Elijah," Klaus smirked and started for the house, smirking as he heard the million questions Rebekah was now throwing at Elijah about Cami.

Cami was pouring herself a glass of bourbon when she heard a familiar voice call her name, "Cami, hey," Marcel strolled into the living room.
"Hey," Cami glumly said back.
"Don't tell me you're still upset," Marcel sighed and took a place at the couch.
"No," Cami shook her head, drowning down a good part of her drink.
"You shouldn't be," Marcel eyed her curiously, "Because first of all, Kol's an idiot, trust me. Half the things that come out of his mouth is pure nonsense."
"Is it?" Cami whispered, knowing perfectly well Marcel heard her.
"Look, things are complicated as it is, now with the Mikaelsons involved..." Marcel did a mock whistle and shook his head, "...not the world you want to be in, honestly."
"Well, even if we don't want to be in this world, we get caught up in them via others," Cami turned around, "And those others need our help right now."
Marcel knew she spoke of Amarrah and her terrible looming fate.
Cami sighed, she didn't want to turn this all about her when there were more pressing matters at hand. "I don't want anyone to worry about me. I'm not the one in danger of losing my body."
"No, that's me," Amarrah came into the room, "And I'm glad to report Davina and Kol are making progress on their spell."
"See, things are getting better," Cami mocked a salute before drowning down her bourbon. She shouldn't focus on herself, especially on the confusing, bad things. She should instead be looking on how to help her friends and just...be okay. She could do that right?

In the dining room, Klaus was sat at the table and holding Hope just as he had intended earlier. He wanted to take advantage of every second he had with her. Maleny came in holding a pencil and small notebook in her hands.
"Okay, you're doing this," she told the hybrid, or warned as it sounded more like it, "Hayley's finished, Elijah's got his and Rebekah was like the first one done. I'm not doing mine until you do yours."
"Mal, I'm holding a small child. This silly wish game will have to wait," Klaus said without looking up from Hope.
Maleny smiled at the baby, "I know she's cute, but you need to write."
"Do yours and then I will perhaps think of mine, then."
"I actually don't know what to write," confessed the blonde as she pulled a chair back to sit at.
"One would think you would wish for Esther to release your body," he gave her a sharp look.
"Well yeah, but that's the easy way. I want something else," she declared with a bright smile, "Like, a new jacket - you still owe me one by the way," she reminded him mockingly, "So I may wish for that."
"That's what you're gonna waste your wish on?" Klaus looked less than impressed.
"Well I don't know!" Maleny pushed the notebook to his side, "What's your wish?"
Klaus thought for a minute and figured this would probably be the last calm, happy moment they would have for a while when they returned to the Qaurter. Determinedly, he motioned for Maleny to take hold of Hope...only for the blonde to turn terrified.
"You don't want to hold her?" he frowned.
Maleny nervously looked at the calm baby in his arms, "I'm not...I'm not a baby person."
"I told you I wanted you to meet her, and meet her you shall," Klaus stood up from his chair and moved to her chair.
"I am meeting her...from right here," Maleny grabbed the arm rests of here chair, "Hi, Hope. See? We met."
"Mal," Klaus tilted his head absent her.
Maleny sighed, "I'm sorry. She's adorable, she's cheery, she's...so small," she said softly, "I don't want to hurt her."
"I think out of everyone you are the least probable to hurt her. Plus, I have to write my wish, remember?" he started lowering Hope to the blonde.
"Oh suddenly this is my fault," Maleny glumly said as she accepted the baby, "Should've seen that coming," Hope gurgled and reached for Maleny's hair on her shoulder. Maleny smiled and fixed her small dress, "You're incredibly cute, you know."
Unable to help himself, Klaus responded to her, "Thank you."
Maleny pointedly glanced at him as he took his seat again, "God help Hope if she inherits your cockiness - and your temper."
"See, you're not hurting her," Klaus gestured to the content Hope now sitting on her lap. She had become engulfed with Maleny's golden necklace draped over her chest.
Maleny looked down at the baby, "She has Hayley's cheeks," she remarked then looked back at him, "I don't think I've ever told you but I'm happy for you. Not everyone can have one of these," she kissed Hope's head and looked up with a small laugh, "Do you remember what you used to tell me back then when we talked about kids and stuff?" she was hoping her face wasn't showing the blush she knew was coming in, "How you said we'd name our daughter..."
"Marlenie," Klaus recalled with his own chuckle, having discarded the idea long ago when he was turned, "She would have been a miniature version of you..."
"I don't think you would have wanted that," Maleny shook her head.
Klaus had gotten lost in the memory Maleny had brought up and remarked in thought, "But I did," he said quietly, "I would have wanted nothing more than to have a family with you..."
Maleny's heart thumped and she was pretty sure he'd heard it. It too had been a dream of hers but just like her last bodies it died long ago.
Klaus set once more to write down his wish. Maleny returned to playing with Hope who'd taken interest in pulling on her chain necklace for the noise it would make.
"Hey, you break it your parents will buy me a new one and I'll make it a nightmare," she playfully warned the baby who gave a toothless grin in response. Maleny chuckled, "Or, we can get them to buy you one too. I get the feeling you're gonna be one very spoiled little girl in the future."
In a couple more seconds, Klaus finished with his wish and put his pencil down.
Maleny looked up slightly bemused, "That fast? Rebekah took a good ten minutes to figure hers out. I would figure after living for centuries you'd have a little more trouble deciding what you want."
"No, I'm pretty clear on what I want," Klaus assured with his signature smirk as he pushed the notebook in front of her to read. He tapped his sentence with a finger, motioning her to take a look.
Though confused, Maleny looked at the notebook and silently read his wish. Seconds later, her now-wide-eyes were back on him.
"I wonder if Hope will inherit your directive trait as well," she said quietly.
"Are you guys finished, Rebekah's going mad impatient," Hayley appeared by the threshold. Maleny quickly slid the notebook off the table in an attempt of hiding it's content. Hayley hadn't noticed and only came up to the table, "Wishes?"
Klaus stood up from his work chair, "We'll be there in a minute," he took Hope from Maleny and walked over to the give her to Hayley, "We're a bit busy."
Hayley really didn't care as long as she could hold Hope again, "Well I wouldn't take too long unless you want Rebekah to come in for you two herself."
"We won't," Klaus motioned her to get going and with a roll of her eyes Hayley walked out with Hope.
Maleny got out of her chair to pick the notebook off the floor. When she turned around she found Klaus already waiting for her right in front of her, "Woah!" she stumbled back, "Don't do that."
"So?" Klaus took the notebook from her, "Care to make the wish true?"
Maleny bit her lip nervously, "Are you doing this to get a kick out of it? Am I supposed to be amusing now?"
"I think my wish was simple and to the point," Klaus cleared his throat to read out loud his wish, "I wish Maleny would just tell me she loves me already."
Maleny blushed a deep red afterwards and was pretty sure he was hearing her rapid heartbeats, "You don't...you don't know that…" she weakly tried to argue.
"Oh, I know that. Your little slip ups, your jealous scenes, your incredibly fast heartbeats…"
"You were jealous too! Riley!" Maleny exclaimed, unable to come up with anything else. She'd been wanting to tell him for days now but she certainly hadn't been prepared to deal with being cornered.
"Who turned out to be exactly what I said he would be," Klaus smirked, "Your taste could use improvements."
"At least mine didn't try to kill a baby in the process," Maleny huffed, "Are we really going to talk about that right now?"
"No, they're the least of my worries right now. I just want to hear you say it, Maleny," Klaus' voice had changed to a softer one, "Just say it...please."
Maleny believed this to be her chance and probably the only one she would get in a long time, "The irony is I've been trying to tell you this for some time now..." she smiled sheepishly, "But something always came up and made me push it back. But you want to hear it? Fine. I love you. You know me, I'm brave until the moment hits. But I do, I love you," she took a step closer to him, "What do you have to say about that, then?"
Startling her, Klaus took her by the waist and pulled her closer, "What do you think I should say?" he challenged.
She raised a questioning eyebrow, "If it doesn't run along the lines of an 'I love you too' followed by a kiss there's a high chance of a fork being embedded in your chest. Choose wisely."
He lightly chuckled and moved one hand up to her cheek, "Far be it for me to upset you."
"Yeah, think about that," she playfully warned.
"I love you, Mal," he finally just leaned over to kiss her as she requested. It only took a couple seconds for him to pick her up and sit her on the edge of the table, his arm around her pulling her impossibly close to him. She looped her arms around his neck like he would escape from her at any moment. She'd forgotten what it was like kissing Klaus and she wanted to take advantage of every single second of it. Both silently berated themselves for wasting time as they relished in their kisses.

Elijah was trying to distract himself of his dark thoughts by compiling more wood for the chimney inside. But as much as he tried, the flashbacks kept coming back to him - and they were getting worse. It wasn't until Rebekah called his name from the doorway that he finally was able to tear himself away from the visions.
"Elijah," she frowned, handing him a hankerchief for his hands, "Here."
"Thank you," Elijah took the hankerchief, shakily trying to compose himself.
Rebekah stepped closer to him, concerned for his decreasing health, "What is it you see when you go away like that?"
"Things I've done. Images of who I was…" he paused, "...things I could do," he added in a mumble as he handed the handkerchief back to Rebekah, "It's a lovely gift from Mother. I can't turn it off. I suppose it's her way of demonstrating I'd be better off taking her deal."
Rebekah rolled her eyes, "To leave your body behind?"
"To start over," Elijah nodded, "To live a mortal life. Have a child of my own, if I choose."
"Cursed as your first-born, if we're to believe the story," Rebekah reminded with a deep sigh.
"Not if I am no longer Mikaelson blood," Elijah countered with, "You see, this is the beauty of Mother, Rebekah- sometimes even her darkest deeds possess a logic that is difficult to refute."
"It's a lovely fantasy, Elijah."
"Rebekah, you and I both know what Mother is capable of. Now, I do wonder if she would relent and leave us be…" Elijah paused again and spoke quieter in case anyone should over hear, "What if all that Mother needs is a victory?"
Rebekah considered the idea but deemed it ridiculous, how could they give that up? She shook her head, " Let her find it somewhere else! Besides, she wants all three of us."
"She has Kol, she has Finn," Elijah insisted, though he himself wasn't very sure of what he was saying, "Now, perhaps, in the end, a simple majority will do?"
Rebekah was still too doubtful of the idea. But in the end...perhaps it could save Hope's life as well as others.

"There's like no plan, is there?" Amarrah was staring at the two teens in the compound courtyard, doing her best not to look as frustrated as she really was. She'd came in and found the two looking at a stupid picture, one of the Originals including the original Kol which of course Davina swooned over. Amarrah was all for romantics and things but not when she was about to lose her body.
"We're working on it," Davina promised the woman, not that it did much for her relief, "We're just...kind of stumped."
"Stumped?" Amarrah raised an eyebrow, now looking over to Kol suspiciously, "Stumped or more like purposely waiting for Esther to find Rebekah?"
"He wouldn't do that," Davina interjected before Kol opened his mouth.
"Really?"
"I wouldn't," Kol assured her soon after, "I don't have a problem with you, love. I could really care less in fact."
"Gee, that makes me feel all the much better," Amarrah crossed her arms, "I'm trying not to be a bitch but the fact is the clock is ticking and I'm freaking out!"
"And we'll find a solution, we promise," Davina insisted, "I take care of my own, okay? I won't let Esther steal your body," and no matter how at odds she was with the Mikaelsons, she would always help her kin who'd done nothing bad.

Out in the safe house, the Mikaelsons' were standing around the bonfire that Klaus had just lit. Seconds later, Maleny stepped out of the house holding Hope now bundled up in a pink sweater.
"You're gonna want to run, Klaus," she warned as she came towards the group.
Before Klaus could question her, Rebekah came out holding a Polaroid camera in hand, "Hey!" she called excitedly, "Look what I found!"
"Oh, bloody hell," Klaus was almost terrified of the camera as Rebekah rushed towards them.
"Told you," Maleny smirked at him.
"You couldn't have stopped her?" he met her just as she reached the bonfire.
"I could have...but then she happened," she bobbed her head to Hope, "I thought she'd look adorable in the sweater. Sorry?"
"You're not sorry," he accused with a scoff, making her smile and nod.
"Not in the least," she chuckled and handed Hope to Hayley who excitedly took her daughter into her arms.
"I wonder if it'll work?" Rebekah distractedly studied her camera for any visible malfunctions.
"Not from where I can see," Maleny cheekily said while Klaus groaned in frustration that she was helping his sister.
"Come on, let's try it!" Rebekah turned to them, "Hey, Nik, do you think you can cram us all into a selfie?"
"Oh, Niklaus is a virtuoso at cramming his siblings into confined spaces," Elijah couldn't fail to remark.
"Ha," Maleny laughed while ignoring the mocking glares of Klaus on her.
"Well, I'm just glad I traveled hundreds of miles to visit my mentally ill brother, only to have him insult me to my face!" Klaus shook his head.
"Oh, come on," Maleny turned to him with a sweet smile on her face, "Can't we just take one picture?" she stepped closer to him, "Pleeeease?"
Behind the pair the others smirked as they waited for the inevitable agreement Klaus would give into eventually. They were no fools. Why it hadn't been directly announced it was pretty easy to tell they'd finally taken advice and just went the hell for it.
"Fine," Klaus huffed and gave in.
Maleny cheered and took the camera from Rebekah to hand it over to him, "Ooh, do you know, I think this is the first ever photo I'll have of myself…"
"What about my paintings?" Klaus looked at her half irritated. She wasn't going to ignore the ones he'd made for her? Hell, there was one she wasn't even aware of but perhaps it was time to reveal it to her.
"I said photo," Maleny reminded and motioned him to take the picture already, "Now hurry up! "
With a roll of his eyes, Klaus raised the camera for the picture. Everyone crowded in and smiled for the picture.
"See, that wasn't so bad," Maleny remarked and took the camera from him just as the picture slid out, slowly developing.
"Let me see!" Rebekah exclaimed and snatched the picture from her, "Aw, see?" she gawked at the picture, "I wish that it could always be like this."
"If wishes were horses…" Elijah said slowly.
" ...Beggars would ride," Klaus finished with a sigh, "You realize we'll have to burn it."
"And there goes my first selfie," Maleny glumly said and received a pat on the back from Hayley, "I know my wish," she said sadly, "I wish things could just be normal - or at least somewhat."
Glumly, Rebekah tossed the picture into the bonfire where it burned down to nothing. Suddenly, determined, Rebekah looked at the others, "I won't let it slip away. I know what to do to stop Esther. I'm going to take her deal. And, when I do, I'm taking her down with me."
"You're delirious," was the first thing said in response - that of Maleny's, "Tell her she's delirious," she nudged Klaus, "Someone do it!"
"Mal, it's a good plan, I assure you," Rebekah anxiously said and stepped forwards, "We just have to play our parts. It'll work. She will be distracted during the spell. She'll be vulnerable."
"No, if we kill her she body jumps," reminded Klaus.
"Then stop her from jumping!"
"Because we haven't thought of that already?" Maleny frowned, "This is kind of our number one problem."
"Well, ages ago, we didn't have a Harvest girl or a Mikaelson witch. Kol knows all of her tricks."
Elijah scoffed, "Now, you're both insane."
Rebekah shot him a look, "Hardly, Elijah. It was your idea! You're the one who said she needed a win, and if we get this right, then she'll have one."
"Good going," Maleny frowned at the Original in suit, "Rebekah, you realize if we get this wrong you're no longer in your own body. Take it from someone who's lived like that for centuries - it's no fun. You never know where or who you could end up."
"It wouldn't be the worst thing," Rebekah insisted and looked at Elijah, "You were ready to do it yourself."
Elijah then received the stunned looks from the group, "It was a foolish moment, and one that you sagely dissuaded me from."
"Hopefully, we'll get lucky and stop the spell before I jump."
"And, if we're not, you'll get what you always wanted," Klaus pointed out and received the nervous smile from his sister, "I mean, that's what you're saying, isn't it? You're willing to lose."
"I'm willing to risk losing, yes."
"Well, we need to find someone for her to jump into. Someone anonymous. Someone who could disappear with Hope."
"Rebekah," Maleny just wanted for her friend to see the reality of what could become her new life, "If you're human you'll…"
Rebekah rolled her eyes, waving her off, "When I'm old and wrinkly, you can dump me back into my old body. Nik already has a coffin he can store me in."
Elijah crossed his arms, "But to trust Kol?"
"It's not about trust, Elijah. It's about finding the proper leverage."
"She's right," Klaus could see the logical point Rebekah was trying to make, "Kol will do what's best for Kol- we just have to meet his price," he pulled out his phone and dialed for the compound.

"That's the plan?" Amarrah gawked after hearing what Cami and Marcel had to say, "You're...kidding me...right?" but the looks between Cami and Marcel told her otherwise, "You're not kidding me? What the hell kind of plan is this!?"
"One where you can hopefully keep your body," Cami tried to smile assuringly but Amarrah shook her head.
"Hopefully is not what I'm aiming for."
"Well it's either that or let Esther take the body," Marcel laid it out for her to see, "What's your pick?"
Amarrah groaned and crossed her arms, "Well, when you put it like that, how could I refuse?"
"And I'd be happy to help," Kol spoke up with a wide grin but Cami scoffed at that.
"You and Davina have been sneaking around this building, no doubt looking for something," she accused, "Care to explain?"
Kol raised his hands, "If you want me to find a new body for Rebekah, I want the Fauline diamond you stole from me back in 1914."
Confused, Cami looked at Marcel who was already laughing, "And what do you plan to do with it?"
"Does it matter?"
"Well, it would matter to Klaus."
"You see, I could fib here, but I want to be on the up about it. I need a weapon I can use to protect myself against Klaus, and the diamond helps me make it."
"You want us to give you a diamond that...can hurt us?"
Kol shook his head, "It's not to kill him! It's simply a matter of self-defense. Only to be used out of absolute necessity. It's a fair trade, Marcel. We get free of my whackadoodle mum, I acquire the means by which to defend myself against a volatile brother, should the need arise, and, uh, if all goes well, perhaps you'll let me near Davina without bodily harm. So, should I call him back, or should you?"
"Well, I can kiss my body goodbye," Amarrah sighed as she assumed Klaus would say 'no' almost immediately.

"Elijah?" Maleny meekly called to the man on the front porch.
The man was holding Hope in his arms while her parents were busy getting everything set for Rebekah's plan. He turned around to face the blonde woman, "What is it, Mal?"
"That's what I'd like to know, honestly," she sighed and came forwards, "What did Esther do to you that has you so...changed? And I'm not just talking about slaughtering people-"
Elijah sighed, "One incident and no one can let it go…"
Maleny smiled lightly at his attempt of a joke, "Well, I was also concerned with your distancing...of certain people."
Elijah knew where it was headed and frankly after having to explain to Rebekah nearly to the last detail he was in no mood to be repeating himself for Maleny, "I will be fine...soon," he said instead.
"I don't want you to be fine just because it's for the best - I want you to be okay for you," Maleny explained with a sad smile, "And I don't think you can do that if you're pushing away someone you clearly miss."
"Preposterous," the Original mumbled and toggled with Hope's small hand.
Maleny made a face, "Are we really going to do this? Cos I have to leave in ten minutes and I don't have enough time to whip you out a full list."
"Mal…"
"Don't Mal me," Maleny waved her index finger at him, "You can be all broody and whatnot but I suggest you take a moment to see who else you're hurting. This isn't just about me and you know it," she sighed and wore a small smile as she stepped closer to him, "She's my cousin, Elijah, and I love her," she leaned on her toes to kiss his cheek, "Just like I love you. I'd like both of you to be okay."
"When did you turn into the advice-giver?" Elijah questioned her sarcastically.
"The student becomes the teacher," Maleny smirked and laughed to herself, causing Hope to giggle along with her, "Plus, I'm in a good mood today," she played with Hope's hand, "Things have gotten better…"
"I can imagine," Elijah threw her his own smirk, causing her to blush.
"Shut up," she warningly pointed at him again, though it only made his smirk grow wider. Maleny rolled her eyes and continued to toggle with Hope until it was time to go.
Klaus and Rebekah were to return to the compound, with Maleny who reminded them of her promise to Amarrah to be there for her, while Hayley stayed back with Elijah and Hope in case anything should happen and Elijah wasn't up to his usual abilities. Once they were well on their way back towards the Quarter, Klaus decided to share with the two blonds of Kol's demands...which were not met with understanding.
"I take back what I said about you Rebekah - Klaus is the delirious one," Maleny was shooting the hybrid a glare, "How could you hand back that diamond?"
"I agree," Rebekah nodded, "You were mad to do that."
"Our little brother has been plotting against me for years, and he hasn't got a lick of it right. I'll take my chances," Klaus shrugged and drove calmly unlike the other two who were still shaken at the easy relinquished diamond.
"This family is full of crazies," Maleny accused and leaned back on her seat, causing Rebekah to look back from the passenger's seat, "I mean what I say," Maleny reinstated.
"You're one to talk," Rebekah scoffed, "Might I remind you how you're even alive today? You foolishly accepted a woman's promise to help and instead garnered a curse. And for what reason you ask?"
"I get the point," Maleny frowned, "And while we're on that topic, are you sure you want to go through with this plan? Body jumping is not as glamorous as you think."
Rebekah lightly smiled, "Yes, but, just in case something doesn't go right, I ask that you handle my body with care, please? I may miss the old model."
Klaus preferred to believe everything would go according to plan, "If everything goes south, I'll be there to pull you out. We just have to take Esther down before she body-jumps. I don't want all of this to have been for nothing."
"And in this plan, what happens to Finn exactly?" Maleny curiously asked after a minute of silence, "Cos, as bad as he's acting, I don't want to think of you plotting his death."
"We'll think of something," Klaus said, unable to help a small smirk make its way across his lips.
"Yeah, that's...not what I wanted to hear," Maleny slowly said, then looked to Rebekah, "Any ideas from you?"
"Afraid not," Rebekah smiled in amusement. Maleny shook her head, no matter how long she knew that family it would never become a norm for her to see them put each other down the way they usually did.

"Done!" Kol excitedly announced upon re-entering the compound where everyone was waiting, "As per your request. Miss Angelica Barker. Good cheekbones and a tummy you can bounce a quarter off! She will be Rebekah's new host body instead of Amarrah."
"Who's Angelica Barker?" Davina asked confused.
"One of my vampire potentials," Marcel replied, "Had to turn her down. She was too lost."
Feeling guilty, Amarrah had to ask, "Does she know what's about to happen to her?"
"It's better when they don't know, love," Kol shot her a sarcastic smile.
"Hopefully we won't have to come to that, then," Cami said to Amarrah for relieving guilt she could see a mile away.
"Hopefully," Kol agreed but then added, "But, then, my mother is a wily and vindictive woman... which is why I've got to ask something else of you."
"You're already getting the diamond," Marcel shot him down.
"Which I'm thrilled about. But, in order for me to help you, I need access to my mother's hourglass... which is in the Lycée. With my mother."
"So?"
"Well, I haven't been back in a while, and the only way she won't suspect me is if I bring back the thing that I was sent to find."
"And that thing is…?"
"...The white oak stake."
Cami's eyes widened in horror, "Are you out of your mind?"
"Look, it's the only way she's gonna trust me!" Kol tried to explain before someone ripped his heart out, "She doesn't want to kill them, she just wants to make sure that the weapon doesn't fall into the wrong hands."
"Has she met herself?" Amarrah shook her head.
"I swear, as soon as she's gone, I'll give it right back to Klaus."
"Like hell you will. Deal's off," Marcel announced just as Klaus entered the place with Rebekah and Maleny behind.
"Kol! Whatever grudges you hold against me, we're doing this for the good of our family. Do I have your word that, for once, you will honor that?"
Kol nodded, "You have my word, Nik. Swear on the face of us all."
"I'll get the stake," Klaus said and started for the stairs.
"You're all crazy," muttered Maleny, not even about to try to sway them from relinquishing the stake as she knew it would make no difference. Instead, she went over to her friend to comfort her while she passed through the awful, terrifying moment.

In the witches' Lycee, Esther was curiously listening to Kol explaining himself for his long absence.
"I wooed her, I won her. It took a while, but in the end, she handed it to me," Kol held out the white oak stake.
"When I didn't hear from you, I thought you might be in trouble," Esther took the stake and gave it a look-over.
"Nope, no trouble," Kol shook his head, "It's just hard to do espionage when you're calling mummy all the time," he curiously touched his mother's hourglass, "So, where's Finn? Is he off playing emperor to his merry pack of dogs?"
"I'm afraid Finn may have fallen into the hands of your brothers. But, I've made a plan to assist him with that dilemma while I continue my search for Rebekah."
"Oh, speak of the devil," Kol looked behind his mother as Rebekah walked into the room, "and the devil will come. Hello, sister."
"Kol, it really is you," Rebekah started her game as planned, "I would know that smirk anywhere," she walked towards Esther who was startled to see her there, "Hello, Mother. I believe you have a deal to offer me?"

Davina urgently spread salt, sand and herbs around an hourglass sitting on a table. She turned over the hourglass to let it begin dropping sand, "Kaleb will link this hourglass to Esther's. Ours will mirror hers."
"When the last sand falls, Esther will try to jump her into you," Marcel added.
"That's when I'll redirect the spell from you to Esther. It's meant to jam the signal just long enough to keep that kind of magic from working against anyone."
"If it works," Amarrah nervously smiled and looked at the others, "God, I'm a good witch and yet I'm still nervous about this. What does that make me?"
"Human," Maleny answered softly, "And it'll work. When Rebekah attacks, Esther won't be able to jump her into you, or herself anywhere else."
"And we're sure Kol is going to actually help?"
"He's on board," Marcel assured, "He's a thief and a liar, but, like Elijah, he doesn't give his word lightly."
"So we just wait now," Cami looked at the hourglass as did everyone else.

Rebekah scowled at the cups of tea Esther was preparing for themselves, "You can't possibly expect me to discuss giving up eternal life over tea," with a smirk she looked over to a shelf with wine bottles, "Give me some of that red over there," smiling, Esther went to retrieve the bottle, "Well, where's the sales pitch?"
"I only offer what you already want," Esther pointed out as she returned with the bottle and two glasses.
"And how do you presume to know that?"
"Elijah's happiest when there's order and music. Klaus, when he's the center of attention and in control. But, you are my only child capable of unfettered joy," Esther poured Rebekah some wine, "And, you're happiest amongst humans. I've seen you yearn for that life. For love."
"And when am I happiest, then, Mother?" Kol gave a loud, sarcastic call.
"When you're doing as you're told," Esther snapped and held up the tea tray for him to put away.
"Not to be a party pooper, but what about Maleny?" Rebekah questioned when her mother turned back to her, "I'm pretty sure she's just be happy if you handed her her body back."
"Maleny is her own blockage to freedom," Esther replied plainly, "I only want to help her finish what she started. I suspect Klaus' stubbornness has rubbed off her. Poor girl."
"Might want to explain that better to her, then," Rebekah tilted her head, "She seems to think you're threatening her by holding the curse over her head."
"Never," Esther fakely promised, "But enough about Maleny. This is all about you," she pointed, "Our wishes are aligned in this, my daughter. Mine, to free you from this curse, and yours, to be human."
Rebekah sucked in a breath as she thought it over, "I'd be giving up everything I've ever known for a memory of something I once was. Power for weakness. Strength for frailty. Eternal life for a brief human existence."
"The choice is simple," Esther smiled, "Another thousand years of never having what you want, or a handful of years when you do."
Nervously, Rebekah glanced to Kol who gave her a nod to go on, "Well, then," she smiled to Esther, "To the end of an era. I'm in."
"Let us begin!" Esther clapped happily and rushed to go turn the hourglass over. As soon as her back was turned to it, Kol secretly cast a spell as she and Rebekah drank from their wine glasses.
They moved out to the cemetery and went into an altar to begin the spell. The hourglass had also been brought along, trickling down the sand bits. It was now surrounded by salt and sand in a full circle. Esther finished the spell with fire sparking in four metal bowls around her. She laid the white oak stake at the end of the altar.
"What the bloody hell is that doing here?" Rebekah couldn't help feel nervous at the sight of the stake so close to her.
"As each of you comes to your senses and takes my offer, I will destroy your vampire bodies," Esther announced, leaving her two children stunned.
"Mother, you said you wanted the stake to protect them!" Kol frowned, feeling slightly betrayed.
"Yes, but not in their current bodies. Once they accept my offer, I will be righting two wrongs-"
Rebekah started backtracking, "No…"
"Having brought this evil into the world, then having subjected my own children to it."
"No!" Rebekah repeated, "That wasn't the deal! Stop the spell!"
"The spell is already done! I prepared it to be locked in the moment I turned over the hourglass," Esther said, much to their dismay.
Yes, the plan wasn't going as they had wished for.
"Mother, think this through. You gave birth to this body, you can't destroy it!" Rebekah insisted for her body.
"I am only destroying its flesh!" Esther tried to calm her down, "Your beautiful soul will live on in the body of another. I have chosen well for you, don't worry. She's a powerful witch, beautiful too."
Somehow, that did not make Rebekah feel any better about the whole thing.
"MOTHER!" Klaus shouted from the stop of a nearby crypt, having heard everything that was to happen, "Stop the spell!" he sped over to where Rebekah stood, "You and your traitorous son."
Kol quickly put his hands up in neutrality, "Nik, I didn't know anything about it, I swear."
While stunned about Kol's betrayal, Esther wasn't angry, "Oh, good. I'm glad you two boys are friends again. I did wonder what you'd been up to in your time away. Now, I know."
"Stop the blasted spell!" Klaus ordered her again.
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Seeing no other choice, Klaus stepped forwards, "Anything is possible. Take me instead."
Horrified at the idea, Rebekah pulled him back, "Nik, no!"
"If only you'd taken my offer when it was still mine to give," Esther mockingly smiled, "Unfortunately, you've left me no choice but to make a... deal... with Mikael."
"Mikael?" Rebekah repeated, even more terrified.
"When Finn and Kol went missing, I needed a new ally. All he wanted was the right to kill you. Kol, I would ask you to deliver the stake to your father, but it seems your loyalties have been compromised."
"STOP THE SPELL, ESTHER!" Klaus shouted again, but it did no use.
"No, it's okay, Nik," Rebekah was looking at the hourglass seeing the sand was almost done, "I can do this."
"So," Esther raised an eyebrow at Klaus, "you're feeling murderous again. You should know, I've already chosen another body."
Kol had also focused in on the hourglass and upon seeing the last bit of sand falling through, he shouted, "NOW!"
Instantly, Klaus snatched the white oak stake from the alter and jabbed it into Esther's neck. The woman dropped to the ground dead.

"Now!" Marcel cued in Davina as the last bit of sand fell through their hourglass. Davina began to chant her spell just as Amarrah started seizing with the spell.
Maleny and Cami held Amarrah as she doubled over. She didn't create much noise before she fell unconscious. Suddenly, the hourglass exploded making everyone dive to the floor for protection.
"Davina, did it work!?" Maleny called from her spot as the young teen raised her head from the ground.
"I have no idea," she replied in fear as all eyes fell on Amarrah.

Later on, Rebekah's body had been brought back into the compound as Amarrah's had been put to rest as well. In the meantime they discovered if the spell had worked, Marcel went to go check in on Finn...only to see he'd escaped somehow.
"When she's up, we gotta get her out of the Quarter," Maleny came running into the courtyard where Amarrah's body was, "Marcel checked in on Finn and he's not there. She's not safe here. Someone busted Finn out!"
Klaus didn't look too surprised with the news, "My mother is using Mikael to do her dirty work now."
"We can't leave her here, Klaus," Maleny hurried up to him, "She can't stay here."
Suddenly, Amarrah gasped awake but no one knew if it was really her or Rebekah. Maleny ran to her side and bent down beside her friend, "...Ams?" she asked shakily.
"That...was...terrifying," Amarrah shivered, "I can't believe this is just normal day stuff for you all."
Maleny smiled brightly and encased her in a hug, "Oh shut up"
Davina started putting pieces together and turned to Klaus, "If Amarrah's here...and Rebekah's not waking up…"
"I couldn't stop the spell," Klaus sighed, hanging his head in defeat.
"She's been placed into Angelica's body then," Davina deduced, "So, in the end, it'll be fine. We'll just have to wait till she can get ahold of you."
"C'mon," Maleny was helping Amarrah stand, "We should get you to rest - you've had a long day."
It was left unofficially said that Amarrah would be staying for the night, but Klaus let it be without one word of protest. When they left, he took off to go visit his mother one last time.

It was late when Klaus returned to the compound, yet there were still some awake in the building. Maleny stepped out of Cami's room, wishing her a peaceful sleep, though doubted it would happen. Cami was still overly upset Elijah still hadn't even directed a word to her since he arrived at the safe house. Truthfully, Maleny didn't have enough comforting words for her cousin, but she still made her attempts.
"Goodnight Cami," Maleny said quietly as the blonde closed the door of her room. With a small sigh, Maleny walked away. She caught site of Klaus crossing the courtyard for one of the downstairs rooms and hurried to go see him.
She was a little surprised to find the rooms empty after a quick peek into them all. She was sure she saw him coming into the hallway, so where was he? Slowly coming back to the courtyard, she felt a light breeze behind her and turned around.
"I don't appreciate playing hide-and-seek at this hour," she mockingly scolded, "Haven't you heard you're not supposed to play it at night?" Klaus smiled silently and walked up to her. She became serious then, and her voice lowered to a quiet hush, "Is she...you know...?"
"Esther's trapped in a barrier and is in transition," Klaus smugly declared, "And I will be glad with whatever decision she takes because she'll end up losing."
"Well, at least something went right today..."
"Mm, I wouldn't say only 'something'," Klaus put an arm around her and pulled her forwards.
Maleny blushed as he ducked his head to meet her lips for a small kiss, "Alright, I stand corrected. But, there's one thing I have to ask...what are we going to do about my corpse still out there?"
Klaus could sense the true fear of her fate and moved one hand to her face, "I did ask, but of course she refused to say the whereabouts-"
"Of course," Maleny repeated bitterly, "Maybe I'm just destined to be cursed for eternity..."
"No, you won't be," Klaus sternly said, "You are not going anywhere, Maleny. We're going to find the corpse, one way or another, and then we'll burn it until there's nothing left. Then...you can learn to play piano as much as you want?"
Maleny lightly smiled, "You're so good I can almost believe that."
"It's the charms," Klaus smirked, making her laugh, "And I'll use them to the fullest extent on you if you keep this hopelessness up. I promise you Esther will not get away with this - not if I can help it."
"I know," Maleny's smile grew, "I'm just nervous, okay?"
"Don't be," Klaus raised her chin up slightly, "We'll figure it out…"
The tingly sensation from their closeness felt enthralling. With a small smile she leaned upwards for a kiss, "We better cos I don't want this to ever end," she playfully warned him afterwards then resumed their kissing.

"It’s not a trial. It’s a suicide.” Klaus had received a call from Rebekah and now we were sitting here. Kol’s condition worsened by the minute and I didn’t know how much time Freya had left. She was fighting with herself. "Take Hayley, take Hope, get the hell out of this city”, Elijah spoke to his brother. "And take Valerie with you.” "No ?!” I spoke indignantly. "No”, said Hayley as well. "We won’t leave you.” "No ! Davina ! Please, please, don’t leave me !” Hayley, Klaus and Elijah jumped up to help Kol and to calm him down. I used the time and looked to Freya. I pointed to the guest bedroom. After she followed me, I closed the door behind us. "Please, tell me you have something. Just something.” I watched how Freya swallowed and looked around. "Freya”, I started again, but the only thing she did, was to bite her lip and crossing her arms. "I would do anything, you know that.” "Don’t you think I wouldn’t do the same ?!” she asked me and tried to be quiet. "We need three different cures and I’m not even making it through the day to create one if we would know the ingredients, what we don’t.” I ran my hands over my face and took a deep breath. I tried to keep calm, but no matter how hard I tried, it didn’t work. Of course not. I was about to lose the man I wanted to build a future with. I sniffed once and wiped the emerging tears from the corner of my eyes, but that didn’t prevent new ones from forming. "I – I can’t lose him Freya”, I sobbed. "I know.” She came to me, pulled me in for a hug. "We will find a solution for this. Like we always do.” "Can’t Freya do something ?! She should put me to bloody sleep ! Just stop the pain !” I paused as I heard Kol’s cries from the other room. My breath stopped and my eyes widened with every second my brain processed the now emerging idea. I took a step back. "What ?” "Maybe I know what to do.”
"We may have a way to save them.” I glanced at Elijah and Hayley, who were still sitting at Kol’s side. "Then I will move the world to make it so.” I changed looks with Freya. "She will need time.” Nik’s eyes wandered to me. "You think I should stand trial before that death-dealing mob ?” "Well, that’s the easy part”, the blonde spoke and I nodded. "In order to save your family, you need to come out of that trial alive.” "What did you both concoct ?” I swallowed and looked to Freya, as I pulled Klaus by his sleeve away from the others. "You remember the sleep spell Dhalia spoke to keep Freya alive for nearly a thousand years ? We think Freya can do that. But we need an anchor. I would do it, but I just married into this family. I do not belong to your bloodline because of that.” "You two think I should be the anchor.” "You have to”, Freya said. "It’s the only chance they have left.” "It’s a risk.” "We know that”, she nodded. "But it’s better than losing them without a fight and without doing something. It can work.” Nik sighed and nodded. He knew that we were right. "Okay, let’s do this.”
"And I really can’t change your mind ?” Nik and I were standing on the sidewalk right in front of the building with the penthouse in it. Nik sighed and took a deep breath. He was convinced that he would save his family - whatever it costed. He would give his life for all of us. I crossed my arms and looked around for a moment. Nik’s enemies could be everywhere. "You know, I don’t like our plan, even when I was the one who came up with it. There is a lot that can go terribly wrong. In all the years I'd spent with the Mikaelsons, Nik had become the brother I'd never had. Even though he used me as a lever against Elijah more than once during my time as a human being. Well, does not every good friendship start this way ? "I really appreciate your concern, Valerie, but I have to help them. I've been fighting for this family for so long that I'm definitely not going to let Marcel take it out of my hands so easily.” I nodded slowly and swallowed once. "I know, I know… Just – just promise me to be careful.” "I will. If you promise me something, too”, he said. "My brother needs you now, maybe more than ever before. And in all those thousands of years, we've been walking the earth, I have never seen him happier than in the last century he met you, Valerie Mikaelson. So take care of him. I have always envied the deep bond between you. You do not know how deeply and sincere he really loves you. We vampires love a lot more than any human could ever imagine. Especially if you are already as old as we are. You know that. And if it does not work ...” "No”, I interrupted him. "It will work...” "But if not”, he continued. "Don’t let him suffer as Finn did. He doesn’t deserve that. Promise me.” He reached into the inside pocket of his coat and handed me a simple stake. Even if I had a bad feeling, I grabbed it. I nodded quickly, blinking the oncoming tears vigorously away. "I promise.” "Come here, little Munchkin.” I smiled a little bit at my nickname, which I got from Nik decades ago because of my small height - which incidentally was the reason why I was always found in high heels - and hugged him tightly. I sniffed and closed my eyes as I took a deep breath. "Promise me you will come back.” "I can’t.” "Then at least try it.” I could feel him nodding. "I will try to come back.”
Elijah’s condition was getting worse. I helped him into the bed in the guest bedroom some time ago to try to drowse a little bit. Now he was leaning with his side against the headboard, twitching in pain and breathing heavily. It was as if he felt my presence because he slowly opened his eyes as I sat down on the bed edge. My innermost was a little startled as it saw him like that. His eyes seemed weak and glassy, without any sign of life in them. "What did you three talk about earlier ?” He asked me weakly. I forced myself to smile a bit and took his hand in mine. "Freya and I may have found a solution”, I said softly. "Do you remember Dhalia’s sleeping spell ?” "You want to put us to sleep ?” He asked and I nodded. I pulled my legs up and slid closer to him. I gently stroke a sweaty strand of hair out of his face. "You won’t have any pain. And Hayley and I would get enough time to find the antidotes.” Elijah ran with his tongue over his lips and swallowed. "But you need an anchor for this and something tells me that it won’t be you.” "I’m just your wife, Elijah”, I explained and continued stroking his hair. "We don’t share the same blood. Nik sacrifices himself.” "No...” Elijah tried to stand up but I grabbed his shoulders and pushed him back down into the bed. "No, shhh, he’s already gone, ‘Lijah.” I watched how he closed his eyes and took a few deep, heavy breaths. "That is insanity. He will die.” "Yeah, and you, and Rebekah and Kol and Freya if we wouldn’t try it. We have to trust Marcel. And I know this man. Did you forget that for a while I have been one of his closest allies ? I think he'll enjoy seeing Nik suffer more than killing him. He will let him live.” "What makes you believe that ?” "Nik was for Marcel what came closest to a father figure. And even if he denies it, he once loved him like a father. And I do not think you can ever kill someone you've once loved for so long.” Elijah sat up heavily. "Valerie, if you’re wrong...” I shook my head. "No, I don’t want to think about it.” "Listen to me”, he said urgently and put a hand on my neck. "I want you to leave. You will get as far away from this place as you can. This city brought you enough grief.” I swallowed hard and closed my eyes for a moment. "And yet I wouldn’t have met you without it. I fled here almost a hundred years after the horrors of World War I, Elijah. I had lost everything. My home, my family, nothing was left to me. And then I met you on that evening, on this ball that I didn’t really want to attend. You gave me all that back and I'm happy it happened that way.” I felt his lips on the tender skin of my neck and closed my eyes for a moment. "Ich liebe dich”, I heard then dull and felt his hot and weak breath with every spoken word on my skin. I smiled a little bit and wrapped my arms around him. "Ich liebe dich auch, Elijah.”
Sometime later, Hayley and I had managed to sit Kol and Elijah at the big, round table in the middle of the apartment where the spell would be spoken. I pulled my cellphone out of my pocket and looked at the display. Nothing. Rebekah should have called long ago. "What it is ?” Hayley asked as she saw my nervous look. "Rebekah’s not calling.” "Then we do it now. We cannot wait anymore.” I pulled my brows together and looked at Freya, who was settling herself heavily in her chair. "You sure ?” "We have no other choice. Kol will not last much longer and I dare to say the same about myself.” I glanced over at Elijah, who just nodded and he gave me one of those glances that promised me that everything would be alright. I changed glances with Hayley, who seemed just as insecure as I was. "Rebekah’s dagger. It has her blood.” Hayley handed the dagger to Freya and she put it on the card on which she had written her and her sibling's names in a runic script before. I took Elijah’s hand when Freya began to cast the spell, holding it tight and I could feel how he shuddered in pain. It must work, it must work, it must work… That was my Inner mantra. "Vintomas inta grum, vin novus novasomin.” Slowly, blood began to drip from Freya's nose, but she continued to cast the spell. Elijah's trembling grew stronger, it was the magic. I glanced at Hayley. Like me, she prayed that this here would work. It had to. "Vintomas inta grum, vin callus novasomin. Vintomas inta grum, vin novus novasomin. Vintomas inta grum, vin callus novasomin.” Freya's words were more and more a singsong of a long-forgotten language that none of us understood, but which was now our only salvation. Elijah's trembling became stronger and stronger and I placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. Then Freya stopped. And Elijah and Kol collapsed, exhausted. I heard them taking a few heavy breaths and looked frantically at Freya. "What’s going on ?!” "I – I don’t know”, she spoke, just as shocked as Hayley and I were. "I lost him.” "No”, I whispered. "That’s not possible.” I swallowed hard and pressed Elijah’s hand tightly. It seemed to be the only thing that stabilized me at that moment. Then a dump, vibrating sound. My cell phone. Rebekah. My hand shook as I reached for the phone and I swallowed once when I answered the call. I did not dare to say anything, instead, I waited for Rebekah to speak. And she did that way too fast. Sobbing. Hayley, which had heard the sound, gave me a wide-eyed look as the realization of what had apparently happened seemed to catch up with her just as fast as it did with me. "Rebekah ?” I asked carefully. "What’s going on ?” "It’s Nik, Valerie. Marcel, he … he… It’s my fault. The mark and …” My heart stopped at the sound of her voice and her words. I reached blindly behind me and clung to the chair back of Elijah's chair, looking for support. "Rebekah, what happened ?” Another sob. "Nik is dead.”

The Originals: Bad Blood (Alternative Season 5)
Episode 10 – Previously on The Originals (Season Finale)
Warnings: I do not own the original content to “The Originals”, “The Vampire Diaries” or “Legacies” or any of the characters from the television shows.
15 plus, displays of Violence, Gore, Torture, M/M, F/M, F/F.
Rebekah stood outside of the compound in New Orleans having just arrived after a two year imprisonment in a ghost town eager to return to her family but resistant due to the fact she was six months pregnant give or take, she judged her pregnancy on how she looked but due to the fact she was both dead and had been for a thousand years she had never been pregnant before so wasn’t exactly the best judge.
After standing for what seemed like forever just when she was about to walk into the compound Marcel vamp sped in front of her leaving them both shocked to see each other especially because no-one knew she was no longer in the ghost town or that she had miraculously found herself pregnant.
“Well that’s definitely new,” Marcel said while shocked to see his former love pregnant struggling to get his head around the idea. “How is this even possible?”
“As it turns out no magic means I’m not only mortal but highly fertile.” Rebekah replied while holding her stomach. “Trust me when I say I have no bloody clue how all this is possible. I was hoping Klaus could get Hope to do some spell and if that didn’t work well then, I’d go see Freya. Freya her baby must be…”
“Babies she had twins which she called Elijah and Nik believe it or not I guess Kol wouldn’t have been too happy about that baby news.” Marcel replied. “Klaus isn’t here last time I checked he was in Mystic Falls trying to convince Caroline’s twins to help break you out.”
“Well needless to say his efforts were bloody useless.” Rebekah responded with a sigh.
“So, am I allowed to ask who’s the dad? I mean if the baby has a dad?” Marcel quizzed her.
“No, you bloody well can’t!” Rebekah snapped. “Please tell me Hayley’s still running things around here.”
“It’s more of a team effort but I’ll allow that little remark considering your bound to be pissed off right now.” Marcel replied. “How about I take you to her and catch you up along the way.”
“Thank you,” Rebekah said with a sigh. “Wait why isn’t she inside?”
Hayley and Elijah: Previously on The Originals
Hayley Marshall’s life had grown even busier over the last two years finding most of her time being spent in the bayou with the wolves although most of them had moved into the city the bayou was still their home and so the werewolves would run freely in the bayou whenever they felt the need and held any meeting werewolf related there.
Hayley tried to be there for Hope as much as possible managing to attend all parent/teacher meetings at Salvatore Boarding School as well as taking every opportunity to have her daughter home in New Orleans but she could only do so much and found herself missing a certain sweet sixteenth in the process which made her feel guilty even though the sixteenth party wasn’t even Hope’s.
Elijah Mikaelson had finally got the girl but found their relationship difficult with Hayley’s schedule being so busy he was the Mikaelson representative at faction meetings but considering he was the only Mikaelson who resided with New Orleans permanently and the city was rather peaceful because of it.
Although at times he struggled to adjust to Hayley’s busy life he never resented it or her in fact he was proud of the queen she had become and decided it was time to be his queen’s king.
“Okay why have you taken me out to the middle of nowhere?” asked a blindfolded Hayley after being vamp sped outside the gates of the newly rebuilt Mikaelson home from season one before taking her blind fold off to be left confused. “I didn’t know anyone was working on rebuilding this place.”
“It’s where the first chapter in our story began and it’s where I’d like to turn to the next chapter.” Elijah told her before kneeling and revealing a beautiful diamond ring in an equally exquisite ring box. “You have your kingdom and now I want you to have your home. I want us to live here happily and I want us to live here as husband and wife.”
“Elijah, yes, of course, yes.” Hayley cheered before Elijah picked her up in his arms and kissed her passionately.
“Okay now it makes sense where your driving me too now.” Rebekah said to Marcel with a sigh while continuing to hold on to her pregnant stomach as she sat in the passenger seat of Marcel’s car as Marcel was behind the wheel driving them to Hayley and Elijah’s home. “So is she officially a Mikaelson now or did they think of waiting for their beloved sister before I missed yet another wedding.”
“They married the next day something small and simple which I guess was perfect for them.” Marcel laughed.
“If Klaus still has some daggers lying about, I swear I will not be held responsible for my actions.” Rebekah snapped. “Anyone else get hitched while I was gone? Clearly I’ve not been as missed as I should’ve been.”
Freya and Keelin: Previously on The Originals
Freya Mikaelson and Keelin Malraux woke up in bed together in their home in Mystic Falls like they had done many times over the last two years both ecstatic to see each other’s faces like they were every morning for the last two years.
“You’re looking especially beautiful this morning future Mrs Mikaelson.” Freya said to her fiancé with an innocent smile.
“I’m fairly certain when an engagement is put on hiatus the correct term for me is potential Mrs Mikaelson.” Keelin replied with a sarcastic tone. “Although as excuses go waiting for your sister to break out of a mysterious vanishing ghost town is pretty up there.”
“I told you I just don’t feel right getting married without her it’s bad enough she couldn’t make Davina and Kol’s weddings are kind of a big deal to her.” Freya replied with a laugh before pulling in her fiancé for a kiss only to hear the babies beginning to cry in the other room.
“My money’s on Nik.” Keelin guessed.
“I’ll take Elijah you take Nik.” Freya smiled.
Freya and Keelin pulled themselves out of bed just like they had done many times over the last two years and made their way into their twin boys’ rooms ready to see out another day of non-marital parents to twin firstborn Mikaelson witches bliss or as close to it as one could get with the next generation of Mikaelson brothers ready to create all kinds of chaos.

“Well at least one sibling thought about me when it came to wedding planning although I must admit young baby versions of Niklaus, and Elijah truly terrify me.” Rebekah said to Marcel as his car pulled up to the gates of Hayley and Elijah’s home.
“There is one particular Mikaelson who should probably be notified now about your unexpected return.” Marcel revealed to her. “The one whose spent the last two years doing nothing but looking for you.”
Klaus and Caroline: Previously on The Originals
Klaus Mikaelson awoke to find himself in a cage within the dungeon underneath the Salvatore Boarding School only to stand up and see Sebastian stood in the cage next to him.
“I’m guessing you’re another one of these witches catches.” Sebastian said to him.
“Yeah unlike you I don’t intend on staying very long.” Klaus replied before marching towards the cage door only to stop when Caroline Forbes vamp sped in front of the gate.
“Really Klaus? You come all the way here pretending to want to see Davina and Hope when really you wanted my girls for some crazy ass spell and didn’t even think to run it past me.” Caroline snapped at him. “I thought we were passed playing tricks on each other.”
“In my defense Caroline you were always better with the tricks than me.” Klaus replied with a smirk always glad to see Caroline even if she was holding him prisoner. “I lost counts of the times you played beautiful distraction to me but trust me I’d happily be distracted by you any time.”
“You can’t just show up here flirt with me, scheme against me and flirt with me some more I’m not that girl anymore.” Caroline snapped.
“I sense some romantic troubles between use.” Sebastian smirked only to be told to “shut up” in unison by both Caroline and Klaus.
“I’m sorry I wanted to speak to my daughter before asking you and trust me when I say Caroline, I wouldn’t have done anything without your permission.” Klaus said sincerely making Caroline smile at him.
“Well you don’t have my permission,” She replied while unlocking the door. “But I do happen to know a heretic who also once belonged to the Gemini Coven in fact I was planning to seek her out myself if you fancy coming along for the journey?”
“You and I alone together.” Klaus said with a sinister smirk while walking out of his cage. “Are you sure you can trust yourself?”
“I’m sure I’ll manage just fine.” Caroline laughed.

“I wish those two would just get together already their will they won’t they thing they’ve got going on feels like it’s been going longer than my existence as an original.” Rebekah said as Marcel opened her door and she got out of the car.
“Speaking of which are you still immortal?” Marcel asked her as they began walking down the driveway.
“Yes, I’m still a vampire now just a pregnant one which normally would be much weirder but thankfully my family have a Tribrid and twins to contend with.” Rebekah revealed to him before Elijah vamp sped over to them until he was standing in front of his sister.
“Rebekah,” Elijah said instantly hugging his sister before feeling the bump and backing away. “What on earth happened to you?”
“It’s called pregnancy Elijah!” Rebekah snapped at her brother. “Now why the hell couldn’t you and Hayley wait for your darling sister to be free from Hell Town before getting hitched?”
“In his defense it was my idea for a simple and quick wedding.” Hayley said after vamp speeding over to be next to her husband and in front of her sister-in-law. “I thought a lavish wedding would hardly be fitting without you there planning it.”
“See now that’s an answer I can get around.” Rebekah smirked before hugging Hayley. “You were my sister long before you married my brother and if you ever choose to leave the tight laced know it all you will remain my sister, Always and Forever.”
“You too,” Hayley replied before looking down at Rebekah’s bump with shock. “You’re going to need to tell me how the hell that happened.”
“Yes, all in good time,” Rebekah replied with an eye roll. “Now where’s Hope?”
Hope and Josie: Previously on The Originals
Josie Saltzman found herself looking in the mirror while wearing a beautiful red ball gown with her brown hair tied back in a beautiful yet simple style as she prepared for her sweet sixteenth birthday party before she heard a knock at the door only to turn around and see Hope Mikaelson once again standing in her doorway.
“Lizzie’s going to be super pissed because she looks nowhere near as good as you do in that dress.” Hope said to Josie while in awe of her beauty.
“You know Lizzie’s currently convincing my dad and mum as we speak to release that vampire in our dungeon just so she can have a date for her birthday.” Josie revealed to Hope.
“I don’t Caroline’s going to let Lizzie use my dad as her date considering their previous history.” Hope joked as she walked into the room.
“Oh no I meant the other guy,” Josie sighed. “It’s been a long sixteenth.”
“I knew what you meant Josie.” Hope said while moving closer towards Josie making Josie nervous as she drew closer. “Happy birthday Josie!”
Hope pulled Josie in for a passionate kiss as Josie kissed her back the two of them sharing a moment together that they had both been wanting for too long and now that moment had finally come.
“Was that my birthday present?” Josie asked her.
“I love you,” Hope laughed “always have always were I guess I was just as chicken as you.”
“I love you too!” Josie replied before kissing Hope again.

“So, Hope got herself Caroline’s daughter before her own father could get Caroline.” Rebekah smirked while placing herself on the couch in Hayley and Elijah’s living room while Marcel, Hayley and Elijah stood above her. “I can’t wait to rub it in my brother’s face speaking of which where is he currently?”
“Last I heard Klaus and Caroline were in Croatia,” Hayley answered before looking at Marcel and Elijah hoping for them to speak only to realize it was up to her. “Okay Rebekah you’re going to need to tell us how the hell you got pregnant.”
“I slept with a Malus witch when mortal and now I’m knocked up with his baby!” Rebekah snapped. “Before anyone even dares judge me, I’d look at your own previous bedfellows first and don’t get me started on any birth control lectures considering I’m bloody dead.”
“Klaus said you were locked in there with Nathaniel and his father,” Elijah said cautious to ask while Marcel and Hayley stayed in silence. “So, is the baby Nathaniel’s child or sibling?”
“Sibling of course I’m hardly going to sleep with one of my oldest friends.” Rebekah responded to Klaus.
“But his father is fair game.” Hayley joked much to Rebekah’s fury.
“Just like marrying the brother of your daughter’s father.” Rebekah replied with a cheeky smirk.
“Or sleeping with your brother’s adoptive son.” Hayley said back with a sly smile of her own.
“Fair play Hayley Marshall-Mikaelson.” Rebekah smirked. “Now what the bloody hell happened to Bonnie Bennet in my absence is she still cheating death and bossing the New Orleans witches about.”
Bonnie and Henrik: Previously on The Originals
Henrik woke up on the cold hard ground of Lafayette Cemetery only to find a smug looking Bonnie hovering above him. He quickly rose to his feet as a large group of witches appeared from behind tombs chanting in Croatian as he noticed he was tripped in a devil’s trap judging by the markings on the ground around him in a circle.
“I recognize you we’ve met before, haven’t we?” He asked Bonnie.
“Yeah your sister Rebekah and I help you escape the ancestral plane.” Bonnie revealed. “And now I’m going to help you become somewhat less of a monster.”
“What the hell are you talking about?” Henrik quizzed, confused by Bonnie’s words.
“Apparently Nathaniel was planning on turning you into an original and it just so happens I’m down for that idea.” Bonnie revealed.
“You want to make me even more powerful,” Henrik laughed at her. “Because killing you all is going to be easy as it is especially now Nathaniel isn’t trying to stop me but please go ahead and make me even more powerful.”
“Actually, the spell’s been altered to use the Malus inside you as the source of magic for the spell,” Bonnie admitted as she raised her hand and magically made Henrik fall to his knees. “I’m going to use up all your Malus to turn you into an original and as for the magic you get from your mother well that kind of magic becomes dormant when you’re turned into a vampire.”
“You cunning little bitch,” Henrik snapped at her as Bonnie joined the other witches chanting in Croatian causing Henrik to let out a series of screams before passing out.
Marcel walked out of Hayley and Elijah’s home and onto the porch when suddenly a heavily pregnant Rebekah vamp sped from out of the door and in Marcel’s path, so she was standing in front of him.
“You never told me what you’ve been up to over the last two years,” She told him while looking down at Marcel’s left hand smiling after noticing his wedding ring. “Judging by that it’s quite the story.”
“Rebekah…” Marcel replied reluctantly.
“I’m literally standing in front of you pregnant with another man’s child I think you can tell me about your wife, and I won’t get bloody jealous.” Rebekah responded. “My love for you was an epic sordid affair but when it ended it did end. I still love you Marcellus but not in the way I used to so please tell me all about yet another wedding where nobody waiting for me.”
“I don’t have a wife, but I do have a husband and it’s Josh.” Marcel admitted.
“Well good for him,” Rebekah said with a sincere smile “I was beginning to think he’d never find another man. In fact, there was a time I didn’t even think he’d survive the month after being turned clearly he’s come a long way.”
“Thanks Rebekah it means a lot that you’re happy for me.” Marcel told her. “I’m happy for you if anyone was born to be a mother it was you, I don’t care how messed it is that your pregnant I’m just delighted you get to be a mother.”
“Thank you, Marcel,” Rebekah said softly clearly touched by Marcel’s words. “So how did Josh romance you down the altar.
“Actually, it was me who romanced him down the altar.” Marcel laughed.
Marcel and Josh: Previously on The Originals
Josh was busy putting chairs up on tables as he cleaned up his bar Rousseau's in New Orleans before Marcel vamp sped into the room grabbing him instantly and pushing him against the counter as the pair began passionately kissing.
“Okay we really need to stop soon before a certain original ex of yours finds out and I’m a goner,” Josh said nervously as Marcel began kissing his neck. “I mean it we should really put an end to this if not for my own survival.”
“Are you wanting this to end?” Marcel asked looking hurt at the idea of their romance coming to an end.
“Well no not really but if we don’t stop now, I’m either going to wind up dead or heartbroken and I’d rather be neither.” Josh admitted.
“Heartbroken, are you admitting feelings for me Josh?” Marcel quizzed with a sinister smile.
“I’m admitting nothing except my need to stay alive.” He said while pushing himself off Marcel.
“I’d never allow anything to happen to you Josh.” Marcel told him as he pulled him back into his arms. “This may have started out as fun, but it’s become so much more.”
“What are you saying?” Josh asked, hopeful of the answer.
“I’m saying I’m in love with you Josh can’t you read between the lines.” Marcel laughed before kissing Josh once more.
“Don’t just say that to win me over.” Josh sighed.
“Josh you have been my best friend long before you were my lover,” Marcel declared to him while placing his hand on Josh’s cheek and looking at the man with pure adoration in his eyes. “I can’t imagine my life without you and I never want to when I say I love you it’s because I love you with all my heart not because I want to get into your pants although that’s definitely a bonus.”
“Who knew you were the romantic,” Josh laughed before kissing Marcel. “I love you too.”
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/3b3ac8fe95e93723ac73113a242e284c/fa0d8c9bd4ebff48-47/s400x600/98657c118ffc2823c8cca5168512cd6c72d1c651.jpg)
“That sounds very sweet I swear I just got toothache from listening to that bloody story, but you missed the part when you got married.” Rebekah replied to Marcel as she and Marcel walk down the driveway heading away from Elijah and Hayley’s home. “I’m guessing that was the proposal of sorts.”
“Actually, that wasn’t one of my proposals it took me about six before Josh was sure I was serious.” Marcel admitted. “He wanted to make sure I’d never hurt him usually that could put a guy off but it just made me love him more to know he wanted me to be fully ready for him before he would say yes.”
“It figures you always did like some good old-fashioned rejection well played Josh.” Rebekah joked. “So, when did the wedding take place?”
“Not long after the sixth proposal,” Marcel smiled. “He had the whole day planned.”
“Oh, bloody hell,” Rebekah shouted as she felt a sharp pain in her stomach. “No this can’t be bloody right!”
“What’s wrong?” asked a worried Marcel.
“This bloody thing that has possessed my womb seems to be wanting to come out now.” Rebekah revealed.

Love from the shadows
Part 2
The Originals AU story
Elijah Mikaelson x Camille O'Connell (Camilijah)
a/n: Elijah and Camille are friends and colleagues. She has a crush on him, but keeps it to herself, as Elijah is known to be quite the ladies man.
Anyway - it's a little something - I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for reading. 😀📖💕🎈
💕🎉
Morning found Camille, waking up next to Marcel, which made her freak out a bit as she realized what had happened. A Tequila shot too many. Never again. She thought as she now sneaked out of the bed and disappeared in the bathroom to get dressed.
Getting out of it in a little while, she was met by Marcell smiling with a charming smirk on, "Morning, beautiful."
"Hey" Camille said with a little gulping smile, "I - uhm- this is just one of those things, right? Not that it wasn't good -"
"Relax - yeah." Marcel said.
"Ok. Ahm - I got to go. Later."
"Later." Marcel said as Camille rushed out of the apartment.
Camille hated that she let herself gothat way. She was a girl, who loved the romantic dates. Dreamt of a big white wedding. Dreamt of Elijah. Even though she knew he was not into serious relationships. She knew his track record. Aya, Celeste, Sabine, Antoinette, Gia, to name but a few, and now Hayley, one of her bffs.
But was Elijah such womanizer, really? Or has he not found the one?
*
In Elijah's apartment
Hayley woke up finding the bed empty. There was a note, saying 'Great night.E.'
She also found a tray of breakfast with a flower in a little vase.
'You got style, I give you that" Hayley muttered taking the bagel, "No wonder Cami is so into you."
*
Elsewhere
"How are things?" Klaus said as Elijah picked up the phone.
"Fine - you? How is Paris?"
"Pretty great. So, are you coming for my birthday?"
"I certainly am. I've already booked a flight. Kol tells me you have gone into crazy mode with the party plans."
"Well, it's my 40th and I just want to splash out." Klaus said.
"And so you should. Right. I got to go. I will see you soon." Klaus said and hung up.
Finishing his coffee, Elijah went up to the window, flashing back to his conversation with his sister the other day.
Flashback
"I met Kol's girlfriend. She is so amazing and he is so wrapped up in her. I haven't seen him so in love like - actually never. It's cute. And talking about love and falling in love - it's Valentine's in a few days - I guess you will end up taking someone home - hook up - seriously, don't you think that it's about time you unfroze your heart? "
"Bex, please -" Elijah took a deep silent breath,"Love is overrated."
"You don't really believe that -" Rebekah continued, but her brother changed the subject of love and his heart to the upcoming trip to Paris.
Years back, in a church in Chicago, Elijah waited at the altar. The woman he was about to marry left him jilted. Breaking his heart. He vowed not fall for anyone again. Ever.
Putting his thoughs away, he returned to the daily tasks.
🎬
Camille pushed the one night stand with Marcel away in a box of crazy mistakes, and same as Elijah went into the working mode.
And as times progressed, working alongside him, seeing him hooking up with Hayley on a regular basis took its toll.
One evening as Davina and her met for a girly night out she splattered the big news to her friend.
"I was approached by a Firm from Boston and I decided I will take the job."
"You are not serious?" Davina looked at her friend a tad bit wide-eyed.
"I am" Camille huffed. "I need to get away - forget about Elijah - working next to him, seeing him every day and knowing that he will always be a player - it's a living Hell. "
"Well - I hate to see you go, but I get it. To get him out of your system, you need to move - but can you not go and work for another Firm here?"
"I will still see him. We have the same friends... you know" Camille explained l.
"I know" Davina said, giving her friend a warm comforting hug.
Not long after, Camille left, because loving someone from the shadows just was something her heart couldn't handle anymore.
🎇
Six months later
Camille walked in Rousseau's, and her eyes set on Elijah, who now waved at the blonde a little, somewhat surprised to see her there.
"What are you doing here?"
"Hey - I am here for the wedding. I am meeting Davina. You? How are you? I hear you have made partner?! Congratulations."
"Yes. Thank you. A drink?"
"Yeah."
"Beer?" Elijah suggested.
"Yes. Thanks."
"So, how are things in Boston?" Elijah now asked, "I still don't get how you just took off, not that I blame you. Fish&Cage are a good firm."
"The offer was too good to pass. Sorry that I left you in the learch - So, how have you been?" Camille said taking seat.
"Fine. Tell me about you and Boston? I bet you are Boston Celtics fan now. "
"No. I am still very much a Pelicans fan. Die hard, don't you know?"
"Yeah - I didn't forget it. You and Kaleb and Marcel were crazy when they played in the finals. Never seen someone so passionate about a game."
"Well, I got tickets. Wanna come?" Elijah said.
"What? You usually go with Klaus?"
"Ah, he is away with his new girfriend."
"Klaus has a girfriend?"
"Yes. Caroline Forbes."
"The Caroline Forbes?" Camille was surprised.
"Yep." Elijah took a swag of his beer. "He is thinking of proposing."
"What? OMG! I never thought that I would hear this. He found the one."
"He found the one."
"And you?" Camille now asked feeling her stomach knotting.
"Me? No. You?"
"No. Haven't found the one yet." Camille said, turning to Davina, who greet them," But, she's found the one, in Junior High already."
The women now hugged, and as Davina ordered a drink they went off to a table to talk wedding stuff. Elijah had his office colleagues arrive and he now chatred away with them.
And during the talk with Davina, Camille could not help herself but sway to look at Elijah a few times.
"You're still into him?" Davina now asked.
"What? Who? Me?" Camille said innocently.
"Yeah, you Cami!" Davina exclaimed.
"Ok. Yeah. Huh. He is still so hot. Damn." Camille said.
"Hot. And a total womanizer. Don't go there."
"I am not. I hear Hayley still hooks up with him."
"Yeah. We had a huge argument, just yesterday. She was with Jackson, too. And he is such a good guy. He didn't deserved this." Davina said.
"Ok. Let's talk bridesmaid's dresses." Camille now said to change the subject.
But, despite Camille's better judgment and all the alarms going off in her head to stay away from Elijah, she ended up accepting to go to the game.
Days after, after the game they ended up in a bar, later, celebrating the win.
"This was such a great game." Camille was still in a full on cheering mode.
"I agree. It really was. I had great fun. So, Tequila?"
"Yeah. But just one. I'll have a beer." Camille said.
As the clinked with the glasses for the win, they both downed the drink.
As a song came up on the karaoke at one moment, made Elijah suddenly grab Camille's hand getting her to the small dance area.
Swaying to the music, they joked a little about it as they now remembered the time they did a karaoke thing while they were working on a case.
"I was actually amazed that you could sing" Camille said.
"You were not bad yourself"
"Oh, please - I was so out of tune. Did you not see everyone's faces - they were silently begging me to stop"
"You just needed practice" Elijah chuckled.
"I will stick to the law - I am much better at that."
"I second that" Elijah said, and pushed her gently out into a twirl. As he pulled her back, she was flush against him. Both stopped still and looked at one another. Camille sucked a heavy breath in.
They were staring into each other’s eyes. Elijah's full lips were only inches from hers. She could feel his warm breath brushing over her skin. She had imagined standing like this with him so many times, and every one of those times, he had kissed her.
And then, it suddenly was better than any dream. His head now lowered toward hers, and his lips found hers.
His kiss, his lips firm, his tongue gentle. The shoulders under his hands went rigid with restraint, a vibration of control suddenly crept up as she kept herself in check, halting the kiss, levering back. Desire and apology cut hard lines into his face as he beamed down at her.
Tequila that was coursing strongly through her veins, hitting her head, muted the voices that were shouting, telling her this was not a good idea.
But then, overriding them, swiftly as the cat she shot both her hands in his hair, yanking his mouth to hers down. Wild, nearly desperate, she slid her tongue inside, pressing her entire body along his length.

previous oc story for my 400 followers: Zach Dempsey x oc Davina Jensen
Ever since the beginning, I’ve always known I was different. Very different from others.
To know Calantha’s father was Ego was not easy. She always felt he had a strange presence lurking when she was with him. And her mother, unknown. All she knew was that she must of been some type of alien creature because her, herself felt that way.
She nodded to the music blaring in her blue ship. The song was to her a great oldie, “Bruce Channel- Hey Baby.” She swayed her hips while looking at the controls of the monitor. Singing as well, and twirling her hair.
She left the ship in auto pilot and inspected the items she kept with her from her last mission. She had placed the things in a light brown traveler bag. Upon opening the bag she realizes some of the children from the planet gave her gift.
“Awww how sweet!” She gushed, putting her hand to her heart.
Calantha was a traveler, and a good one at that. She would travel to little places such as all over the world, to all over different planets of the galaxy. She would study their traditions, culture, their life. It just made her curiosity of life more vast. She also would go and travel all over if the area or planet was in trouble. For example like the planet she was just on, it is called Achernon (its actually a real marvel planet). One of the Achernonians was evil, his name was Brahl. Calantha had arrived to the planet to save them.
Calantha stared at the items and shook her head, “they will never realize it was really me.”
Calantha just 25 learned of her powers when she was young. She could shape shift into either any animal, or any person. At first knowing these powers made everything amazing, made everything seem more in reach to her. But there was a downside, there is always a downside to everything. She could never show her true self. Calantha did not want others to know about her power. So as she entered into new planets she would shape shift into looking like their kind.
Calantha was transformed into looking like an Achernonian. She learned the peoples ways, but now it was time to go back and situate herself into either another planet or somewhere.
Calantha smiled to herself knowing she made an impact on the planet she went to previously. She stood up, stretching, preparing herself for a while of a trip. She stripped herself from the clothing of the Achernonians and put on her comfortable clothes, a black shirt, black leather jacket, black ripped jeans, and adidas.
“Ahh now this is more like it,” she moaned, grabbing a snack and drink. As she went to the cupboard in her ship she saw a picture. It was a picture of her with some of her friends. They were by an ice cream shop in Japan, this was way back in the 60s. Hugging, smiling, having a great time. It was back then, back then when life was good, when life meant something. Calantha stared at it wishingly, darkly, knowing life would never be the same. She shook her head and muttered under her breath. Calantha was immortal, most of her family or friends have passed. She was now left alone to fight for those who could fight no longer. “Those were the good old days.” She whispered almost as if whispering to the photo.
Calantha looked on her octagon shaped table in the middle of her spaceship. She bought or more like traded all her possessions just for the ship. Her spaceship meant everything to her, it was all she had. Calantha picked up her handgun and placed it in her weapon belt. She then walked to her stereo and turned it off, wanting some peace and quiet. Next, she picked up her books of mythology. “The greatest mysteries of the world,” she read aloud. She carefully placed her snacks in cup holders and sat on the captains seat, the seat that controlled the whole spaceship, she sat on it sideways. Opening her book she allowed herself to become captured by the words and facts about Greek gods, and history about the world.
“Wow, this is neat stuff,” knowledge entered into her mind, with one swift movement of the light weight page she was onto another adventure. She subconsciously grabbed her snack and after one bite started to drink her beverage.
Just then the monitor on her ship started beeping. Calantha curiously placed her books down and pressed the answer button on the screen.
“Hello?” She asked without no hesitation.
“Calantha, oh good, I’m so glad to hear from you.”
“Nakia? Whats wrong?”
Calantha scooted closer to the monitor. Calantha’s best friend was Nakia, the lover of King T’Challa, of Wakanda. She had saved Nakia back then when Calantha came to explore Wakanda. There was another incident with the War Dogs and Calantha was there to protect Nakia.
Nakia started to cry, making Calantha worry even more. “Nakia please tell me! What happened?”
“T’Challa, he was...killed...in ritual combat.”
Calantha shook her head and placed her palm on her forehead, shocked from the news, “you mean to tell me that T’Challa is no longer-”
“King? No.” Nakia cried some more and Calantha could hear her breaths she was taking. Big ones but short.
“Then,” Calantha started, “who is?”
“A man named Erik Stevens, he’s a mercenary nicknamed Killmonger. His father was...his father was the brother of King T’Chaka. He wants to send vibranium to all over the world.”
“So that would make him the rightful owner of the throne,” Calantha said, pushing her hair behind her ear.
“Yes but Calantha he is very bad, very evil, selfish. He is not fit to be King, he will never be my King. Wakanda needs your help, I need your help again ngumhlobo (friend).”
Calantha chuckled and nodded her head, “And you know I will always be there for you. I will see you soon Nakia.” Calantha declined the call and climbed out of her chair. She walked to her map of different planets and the map of the whole world. She bit her lip and placed a thumb tack on the world map where it said Wakanda.
Calantha nodded her head and ran to her steering of the space ship. “Next stop, Wakanda.” Putting her hand on the blasters she quickly makes her way to her destination.
“Okay Nakia, I’m outside.” Calantha spoke through the microphone that connected her and Nakia. She awaited for the okay inside a truck. Wearing her all black, one piece outfit she sat in the vehicle waiting.
As Calantha stared at the entrance she saw Nakia sprint towards her. Nakia entered the vehicle with a squeal.
“Hello Calantha, it has been too long. I feel bad we have to meet on such circumstances.”
Calantha shrugged and giggled, “I missed you too girl! I should have come to visit, I have just been so busy. I’m glad to see you.”
Nakia embraced Calantha and patted her back. “So whats the plan?”
“Well I was thinking I can go in secretly, in a disguise.”
“What do you have in mind?”
Calantha gave her best friend a smirk and turned into a Wakandan male. “How does this look? Do you think they would know its me?”
“I still can’t believe you can do that. Even your voice changes! Man I wish I had your power, it can come handy in a lot of occasions.”
Calantha turned back into her normal self, “So I’ll go in like this. My history will be that I am some type of-”
“Farmer?” Nakia suggested, putting her finger to her lip in thought.
“Yeah farmer, and I came to help with this Erik. We need to get a better understanding of him. If I can inch closer to him and see what his deal is with Wakanda then maybe, I can take him down for good.”
“You literally sound like a bad as* when you say your plans,” Nakia bit her lip but her face fell in sadness.
‘Whats wrong Nakia?”
“I just miss T’Challa. I just hope we can take Erik down.”
Calantha placed a reassuring hand on her back, “We will take him down, Erik will not be King. Not on my watch.”
Nakia sat up straight and wiped her tears away, “you’re right. We are gonna do this.”
Calantha shape shifted into the male and nodded, “we are gonna do this!”
Stepping out of the vehicle with a light skip in her step she makes it with Nakia through Wakanda.
“Our meet up location will be far away into the country of Wakanda, got it? More towards the border.”
She nodded towards Nakia, “got it.”
“Well good luck my friend.”
Upon seeing the throne her anger boiled within her.
“Your majesty,” Calantha says in her disguise. “I have a gift for you.”
As those words came out of her mouth the culprit, the man who thinks he can take Wakanda away, turned around. He walked right up to her with a look of a predator.
“What do you want fool? Can’t you see I’m workin here?”
Upon seeing his face Calantha’s face froze. She did not expect for him to be that handsome. Aww why do all the good lookin boys gotta be bad?” Calantha thought in her head.
She looked him down and up, “My apologizes, I was wanting to make a feast for you and any of your guest. I want your kingship to be honorable and memorable, so please as a gift let me do this.” Calantha almost felt like her mouth was not even hers. She kept that anger she had deep down so as not to ruin the mission. Everyone around the room had their mouths open in shock or their jaws clenched in anger.
Erik looked all over her, his presence seeming threatening.
“Lets talk somewhere a little more, private. Y’all don’t disturb us.”
Erik lead her outside where the sun was still shining and the breeze felt nice. Down below were people working and talking, going about their day.
“Who are you really? Hmm?”
Calantha chuckled, “I have already told you. I am a simple farmer, I have lived on the border all my life. All I want is to make a dinner for you. Our King.” Her plan was to entice him, reel him in and then the last second when he is not looking Calantha will take care of him and make sure he is not a nuisance again. She awaited for his answer.
Nakia had put, from Shuri, a hidden camera inside your outfit. It was staring directly right at Erik.
“Alright then, do what you gotta do,” Erik called to her, shrugging and leaving.
Calantha quickly placed her hand on his arm. “Is there any dish you specifically want?”
That touch made Erik curious about who Calantha was. He took her hand off his arm and gave her a mean look. “Do whatever y’all do over there. I’m fine with anything.”
Calantha nodded her head. Erik stood there, eyeing her. “So do you got a name?”
Her eyes went back and forth, her brain searching for an answer. “Yes. My name is-”
Suddenly, two guards came in with some important duties that Erik had to attend. Erik left her in a state of fear and unknown.
Calantha quickly wiped her brow. She was indeed scared, but why?
“Did you get all that?” Calantha asked as she entered the secret building Nakia was in. She quickly transformed into herself.
“Yep, clean and solid. What name were you gonna come up with?” Nakia raised a brow at Calantha.
Calantha stumbled over her words, “I was going to say something. I am very good at making up things on the spot.”
Nakia laughed and Calantha twirled her dark blonde hair between her fingers, concentrating. She put the camera in the system and gave the first encounter a look over. “This is good,” Calantha said as she walked back and forth, a forefinger resting upon her bottom lip. “If I can just get more of trusting relationship with him then for sure I can get him into our grasps.”
“It wont be easy, you know? Erik is surrounded by many guards and the Dora Milaje. You might not get out alive,” Nakia sounded worried. Calantha pushed those worry's aside. “If I make it out great if I don’t then, oh well, I don’t have family and anybody in my life so its not like its a waste.”
Nakia gave her a saddened look. Calantha looked down sad, “right! So I’m gonna go, look through town and see if I can get us any food.”
Nakia nodded and gave her a hug goodbye.
Calantha walked out in a Wakandan outfit. The clothing was beautiful, all the colors, shapes, the stitching, it made the clothes look like a masterpiece.
She walked out putting sunglasses on, her hair swaying with the breeze. Looking magical and as if it were to take her away, far away from any of the worlds. To a place unimaginable.
As she was looking down while walking she accidentally bumped into someone.
“Hold on there baby, you okay?” Said a familiar voice. Calantha looked up, her green eyes bugging out. She placed her sun glasses closer to her face. “Hey,” said that voice. “I ain’t never seen you here before?” It was Erik Killmonger. The new King.
Calantha picked herself up and dusted her clothes, “yeah you ain’t ever seen me around cause I don’t want you to. Sorry.” Calantha wanted to get away from him. She didn’t approve of his attitude and before she would do something she regretted she left him shocked.
“Oooh she a feisty one,” Erik said to himself. Calantha turned a corner, looking back she spotted no one following her. “Phew, that was a close one.”
She kept walking forward but unknown to her someone was following her.
As she made it to the waterfall she breathed in the air. The rich soil of Wakanda wafted through her nose. It smelled of pure nature. Again she looked behind her. No one. “Good,” she thought as she took off her shades and her clothes off. Nobody would come here surely. She took her clothes off and was left in her bra and panties.
On the edge of the cliff she gently pushed herself off the rock and with a splash landed in the cold, clear water. “Ahh this feels so good,” she groaned.
“Can I join?”
Calantha quickly looked back and with a surprised face saw Erik.
“What the hel*!” She shouted, rushing on out of the water to grab her clothes. As she was about to grab them Erik had already gotten a hold of them. “Whats the matter baby girl?”
She tried to cover herself up the best way possible. “I want my stuff.” She went to grab for it again but Erik clutched her arm. So now her face was staring directly into his. Her green eyes seemed sweet but also menacing. She stared at him, her skin glowing with the sun. She looked like a goddess in Erik’s eyes. Oh no, Erik was falling, falling for a stranger.
“Dam* girl,” he muttered under his breath.
“For god’s sake did you follow me?” Calantha pulled her arm out of his grip.
Erik shrugged, “maybe.”
Calantha rubbed her temples, “fine I’ll leave here this way. Enjoy the water...alone!”
As Calantha was about to walk away Erik grabbed her waist making her become very close to him. His lips went to her ear and he breathed out, “I don’t think you wanna do that. See some of the creeps here will rip you apart like you ain’t nothing. I’m just tryin to protect ya.”
Calantha blushed at his actions and unwrapped herself from his grip. “I think I can handle myself Mr. Savior. You have never seen me rip apart somebody.” Calantha then walked up to Erik and went to his ears and whispered, “and trust me, its not pretty.” Just then a breeze came in and made Calantha shiver, she tried to cover her bare arms.
Erik bit his lips and threw her clothes on the rock. “You want your clothes? Let me swim with ya.”
Calantha gave Erik a glare and then entered into the water again, she swam away.
Erik then started to remove his clothing.
(i legit stared at this gif for like a total of 10 minutes now i look like a creep)
Erik saw though that Calantha was staring at him from the corner of her eyes.
“Like what you see?”
Calantha turned to his attention when he walked in the water. “What are those?” She asked, pointing to the markings on his skin.
Erik looked down and smirked, “for all my kills.”
Calantha nodded, “Well, seems like you killed a lot. Did they hurt you?”
Erik felt the temperature of the water, enjoying the movement of it. “Nah, did this to myself. Ain’t a lot things these days that can hurt me anymore.”
Calantha understood that completely. “I totally get it. When you don’t got no one it gets easier. No one can hurt me now.”
“Why what happened to you?”
Calantha stared into the water, feeling the sadness creep up on her. “Its complicated. Sometimes I feel that life finds away to make your existence a living hel*.”
“Dam* thats dark as hel*. But thats how I felt.”
She bit her lip and swam away but said, “Life is dark.” She then swam away under the waterfall. As she went her hair got wet and her face was splashed with the cool, clear water. Calantha didn’t know this but Erik was staring at her. His heart, unknown to him, was beating fast, and pounding like a drum. The elegance and beauty he saw when she went behind the waterfall made him want her more.
Calantha pushed her hair back and just tried to enjoy the time she had being in the waterfall. She would have to get out soon, seeing that it was already getting dark. She did not want Erik to get any ideas of who she was, then it would ruin the whole mission. Calantha looked through the waterfall to see if Erik was still there but he was gone!
“Where did that idiot run off to? Fine, at least this gives me time to go-”
“So you ever gonna tell me your name?” Erik asked, his face only a few centimeters apart from Calantha’s.
She jumped and almost drowned but Erik caught her in his arms. “You okay there baby?”
Calantha gave him a look of annoyance. His arms felt so strong to her. Like they could lift any weight. They were powerful, almost like brick solid.
“What are you doing to yourself Calantha. Stop paying attention to him! This is the guy you’re trying to take down, remember?” She scolded herself in her head. Erik started to rub softly her legs and give her a face of god a face that was so handsome! He was biting his plump, juicy lips, awaiting her answer.
Calantha got out of his grip before the encounter went sideways. “Hey can I ask you a question? Do you call all your girls baby, baby girl, or just the mysterious ones?”
“Only the beautiful ones, besides I didn’t get your name,” Erik seemed flirting with her. Winking at the end of his sentence.
“Fine, those pet names are fine...I guess,” Calantha rubbed her arm sheepishly and started blushing. She felt this was not fair! Never had a man done this to her, she was a strong, independent woman and now Erik was screwing that whole idea up. Erik saw Calantha unsure, he came in closer with a pure face of knowing. Calantha put her hand out to stop him, “well this was nice but I think I should be leaving now, have fun.” She quickly got out of the water and tried to dry herself the best way possible. While getting out Erik looked at her, biting his lip and cursing under his breath at the sight he saw.
Calantha grabbed her clothes and put them on quickly.
“Wait!” Erik said, getting out the water as well.
“Give me a break,” Calantha muttered under her breath. She turned around and saw Erik running to her in all his glory. His chest glistened from the water.
“Let me take you out to dinner. Treat you.”
She rolled her eyes and combed her hair with her fingers. “No Erik, I got stuff to do.”
“I don’t usually do this to girls so you’d be the first. Just please let me take you out and show you Wakanda. I know the best part of these streets.”
“And if I keep saying no?”
Erik walked up to Calantha and raised his brows, “well then I guess you don’t get to go with a King, and I may follow you. So its your choice.”
Erik waited for her answer, patiently, while she grumbled and whined in annoyance. She could not have it that Erik follow her.
“Fine,” she gave in, rolling her eyes.
Walking the streets of Wakanda, Calantha made sure to have an eye open for Erik. She had a thought, she too this way could get close to him and figure out whats his deal is with Wakanda.
Calantha was not going to lie to herself though. She did have a fun time with him. Its been a while since Calantha spent some quality time with someone, let alone a man. She felt confident and for a short time she pretended that it was a date. She pretended that she didn’t have to take Erik down, just for a couple of hours she wanted to live a fantasy.
They both were in a middle of a conversation about the time she went to Spain with her friends.
“Okay so what did y’all tell your friend?” Erik asked sipping on a Wakandan drink. Both of them went to go have dinner and Calantha was surprised at herself. She was more talkative then ever. She was laughing and enjoying her time with Erik. They were together for hours. She told things to Erik that she had never told to anyone. It felt good.
“Well me and my friends ended up dragging her drunk as* out of the restaurant and everyone was looking at us and just probably thinking we were crazy. Those were the good times though.” Calantha sipped her drink, lightly bumping into Erik. She looked down trying not to make a show but Erik saw her expression.
“What happened to your friends?”
Calantha pushed her hair back and gave her attention to Erik, “They all have passed. I’m the only one who hasn’t. Sometimes I wish I could change that. But I really do not have anyone. I am all alone.”
Erik looked at her guilty, he felt bad for her. “I know how you feel. When my pop’s died I felt that way, I still feel that way. What hurts more I think is that you see and know that some people deserve the worst, and yet they don’t get shi*. You know what I mean.”
Calantha just nodded knowing what he meant by that. She had read about and heard about Erik’s life and why he was so angry with the world.
“Sometimes though we need to let go in order to keep living. We need to let go of the past to open the door to the future. At least that’s what I think. Sorry I know you’re probably bothered or weirded out by my philosophical talking.”
Erik shook his head and sipped his drink, “nah its cool, I get it.”
Calantha then started shivering, her arms wrapped around herself trying to stay warm. “Man its chilly tonight. Should of brought a stupid jacket.”
“Hey, here, look, take mine,” Erik offered taking off his long, black, kingly robe.
“Oh I shouldn't, you’ll be cold as well now.” Calantha pushed the black robe to him.
“Baby, just take it. You see my muscles? I am always heated up, especially when I look at you.”
“Good one,” she rolled her eyes, grabbing the robe and putting it on. “Thanks.”
Erik just nodded and sipped his drink some more. Calantha hated herself in that moment. The robe smelled just like him. It was rough, manly, a little bit cologne. It made goosebumps run down her whole body. She felt she was getting high off the smell, it was truly intoxicating.
That night Erik and Calantha stayed out late, they laughed, joked, flirted with each other. Calantha was happy, but she didn’t know why? Was it because this makes their relationship closer and now she can get to him easier? Or is it because she genuinely was having a good time with him? She felt herself slipping away bit by bit. They both were a mystery for each other yet they spent time together like they’ve known each other for years.
Calantha then paused at a random house and stood still, “well this is me. Hope you have a good night, and next time don’t force someone to go out with you.”
Erik laughed and scratched his head, “will I see you again?”
Calantha shrugged, “probably not, I’ve got work to do and to be honest you kinda annoy me a little.” She shrugged the robe off and gave it to him. Calantha gave him a smirk while Erik laughed at her statement. “Girl you know you wanted to go out with me. Just say it. I’m gonna count that as a I will see you soon.”
“Bye Erik,” Calantha chuckled closing the door. As she saw Erik leave she turned into a Wakandan female just to leave the area and go to Nakia.
Calantha was truly falling for Erik. She spent every morning with him as the Wakandan male, preparing his feast. Then Erik would try to find Calantha transformed into herself everyday and surely enough he would find her. She did not want to be with him, she did not accept how selfish he was. For gods sake he killed King T’Challa! That thought made Calantha smirk in success, for she was getting closer and closer with him and she was gaining his trust. Calantha was going to take him down, once and for all.
But Nakia was worried, every time Calantha would come home from the mission Nakia saw the lovesick grin on Calantha’s face. She and Calantha had many fights on why Calantha should not see Erik anymore. But Calantha would just brush off the fact that she did find Erik interesting and had a liking to him.
The feast was the next day. Calantha had to get everything prepared and ready for that day. She was transformed into the male and getting everything ready for the day when she would have to take down Erik.
“Aye man,” Erik came in the room. “Hows it goin?”
She nodded her head, “its coming around. The feast should be ready by tomorrow night.”
“Good I was hoping that, you know. Hey, can you leave a seat next to my chair empty with like a lil v.i.p paper on there or something, I’m gon invite someone important to this feast.”
Calantha felt her heart sink in her chest. Someone? “Oh really, well may I ask who is it.”
Erik looked out the window and smiled, “its a girl, and the funny thing is hel* I don’t even know her name.”
Calantha felt terrible, what did she expect though? He has moved on, it was better this way. Calantha felt tears running down her face. She turned around, “excuse me I have something in my eye.” She then ran away with Erik still talking. Erik looked back and saw that Calantha wasn’t there, he ran after her or who he thought was a man.
She sat there and transformed into her true self. She stood by the wall, trying to hold herself together, but the tears were unstoppable.
“Hey what happened-baby? What are you, but I thought I saw, what in the hel*?” Erik looked around trying to find Calantha but her transformed as a guy. Erik was now curious about her. How did she appear so fast and not the other guy? Erik pondered a little bit over that thought but then realized she was crying right in front of him.
“What happened?” Was all he asked, kneeling down to her trying to get a good look at his face.
Calantha could not believe this moment that was happening right in front of her eyes! She was crying over a guy thinking he was with another woman, and she was being consoled by a evil person, a villain!
“Baby girl, tell me whats wrong, now.” Erik took a hold of her arms and pushed them down to her sides so he could see her face. Tears were evident and there were tear stains left on her cheek. Her eye lashes were thick from the tears and her lips were puckered up. She looked so beautiful in his eyes.
“I just,” Calantha could not tell him the truth. She could not tell him that she was the guy even though she really wanted to, and badly. “I was just remembering about my friends.”
Erik understood and brought her tiny body into his arms. There she felt comforted, safe, and loved. She shook her head and wiped the tears away, pushing herself away from Erik’s chest where she really wanted to be.
“No I can’t do this anymore. Erik, we can’t keep seeing each other anymore, I, I don’t want to.” She stood up and pushed Erik away. Erik gave her a look of confusion. “Why can’t you do this anymore? I don’t understand what you’re talking about.”
“I just...can’t Erik. I can’t anymore.”
Erik grabbed Calantha’s hands and massaged them gently, “well then maybe this will change your mind.” Erik softly placed his two hands on her cheeks and slowly inched closer to her. Their lips met. To Calantha it was perfect, his lips were so plush and soft. She felt like she was in heaven.
(not my gif! do not own!)
Calantha wanted Erik so bad, she deepened the kiss, placing her delicate hands on the back of his head. She felt complete with that embrace, she felt something spark within her. It was the feeling of love, how did she come to love her enemy? The man she was supposed to take down? She was at a loss for words but at this moment nothing else mattered except that splendid kiss.
Erik backed away and kissed her forehead, “how was that baby?”
“Calantha,” she just blurted out of nowhere.
“That’s your name?” Erik said out to her.
She nodded, “yeah, I figured you want to know, although I don’t truly hate the name baby.” She gave Erik a smirk caressing his face, brushing through his facial hair.
“Calantha? You know you got a nice name like its really beautiful,” Erik bashfully said, scratching his nose and looking down.
Calantha bit her lips and tried hard not to smile at him being embarrassed, “that’s really sweet of you Erik, thank you.” Calantha couldn’t resist the feeling of wanting another kiss, but as she was about to kiss Erik again a guard came out of nowhere and interrupted the moment.
“All these dam* people be interruptin me at the wrong time y’all.” Erik cursed under his breath. As he was about to leave he turned back to Calantha, “hey baby, I would like for you to be my special quest in a feast I’m havin tomorrow. How you feel about that?”
Calantha tried hard not to show that she was surprised and now gonna be screwed. She forgot all about the mission! Erik gave her a face of concern and worry. Calantha felt bad to say no so with a defeated sigh she agreed to his proposal.
“I, I would love to Erik.”
Calantha was stressed to the max, she felt that she let Nakia, T’Challa, everyone down. She pondered over her thoughts for many hours and her conclusion was simple and to the point. She had to take down Erik. She came here for a purpose, it was not to fall in love, it was not to start a new chapter in her life, no, it was simply to take Erik down and make sure he would not resurface to this world again.
The plan was Nakia would portray a guest in the feast since Calantha placed her name down. Nakia would disguise herself. Calantha would come in as the male getting the feast together and then when Erik is not looking Calantha and Nakia would take him down together.
Calantha had set the feast up already, she was proud of herself. She felt she really captured the culture and beauty of Wakanda in the decor.
“Prefect,” she whispered out loud, she was transformed into the male Wakandan. She stared at awe at the feast table.
“Your majesty, where would you like me to place the extra chair, your,” she took a gulp. “Special quest.”
Erik pointed to the seat next to him, “put my baby girl over there, right next to me. So I can keep an eye on her and make sure she happy, you know what I’m sayin?”
Calantha nodded and her heart fluttered at his nickname for her, she felt herself feel now pain than anything. She ordered someone to place the chair next to Erik’s high and mighty one.
Soon quests were coming in, one by one the room started to fill up and that made Calantha more and more nervous. She wiped her forehead of sweat and gave each and every person their personal chair.
Then Nakia came in, with her disguise on. Calantha knew this plan would roll on even if she didn’t want it to.
“Are you ready?” Nakia asked, showing a smile to people as they walked by.
Calantha secretly nodded and left the room.
Calantha could hear that Erik made an announcement for people to eat and enjoy themselves.
Calantha stood by where no one was around. She looked back and forth, “no one, good. C’mon Calantha you got this girl, you are just gonna do this small thing and then you can go home in your beautiful space ship and live your life like what you felt with Erik was a dream it did not happen.” Calantha was too busy putting on her black fighting suit that she didn’t hear someone walking to her voice. She was finished taking her clothes off when then Erik appeared.
“Calantha?”
“Erik! Oh my god!” Calantha was shocked and terrified.
“Baby we can’t keep meeting like this,” Erik chuckled eyeing her up and down, taking in her site of just in a bra and panties. Erik licked his lips and gave her a look of a predator, as if he were to pounce on her.
Calantha pushed back her hair, “I just, um my dress broke and I don’t have a new one. Darn guess I can’t make the dinner.” She was just about to leave when Erik grabbed onto her arm, “I got an extra dress for you if you want to wear it, I think it would look sexy on ya.”
Calantha couldn’t get out of this one, “sure.”
She had to do this for T’Challa, for his family, for Wakanda.
Erik was wearing his suit that matched her dress.
They walked hand in hand to the dinner. Calantha wished it would never happen, she wished this were all a dream and soon she was gonna wake up. The moment went by to her in slow motion, every feeling in her body resurfacing all at once. Her heels clanked through the hall and she knew one way or another...
Erik was going to not be King of Wakanda anymore.
As Calantha walked in everyone gasped to see her, they did not think Erik would find anyone with how selfish and evil he is. Nakia saw Calantha that she was transformed into her true self. Calantha could tell Nakia was truly irate, her face showed it all. As Calantha and Erik sat down Nakia stood up. “I would like to raise a toast!” Everyone in the room raised their glasses and Nakia gave Calantha a angry look. She went on to say, “Friends are tough, they are rough around the edges. They agree on stuff you say today, and disagree on the stuff you say tomorrow. You feel sometimes you can trust them, but other times they completely forget that trust.”
Calantha just wanted to hide away in her spaceship, she wanted to get away and never return. Calantha quickly touched lightly her weapons that were hiding under the table. She did not want to do this.
“Calantha,” Nakia says, and Calantha knew soon she must fight Erik. Nakia went on, “you are my dearest friend, and as your friend I want you to do one thing to him,” and as Nakia raises her glass higher to her mouth to drink she licks her lips and takes off her disguise, “kill him.”
Calantha quickly shot up and ripped her dress of to show her black one piece, fighting suit. She pointed her hand gun to Erik and shrugged, “you knew this had to happen.”
Erik slowly drank his drink and chuckled, “so you’re the bitc* I gotta kill. Well then,” suddenly Erik turns into a Panther Habit of his own. It was black and gold. Calantha screams in anger at him because she knows Shuri made the suit. “You do not deserve that suit,” shouts an irate Nakia.
Nakia threw one of her ring blades to Erik while he dodged the attack. Nakia jumped to him while Calantha started shooting Erik from her handgun. Erik cuts the bullets in half with his Wakandan swords and throws one of them in the air. He then gets his claws from his suit and cuts Nakia on her side stomach. Nakia winces and holds the wound with pressure. Calantha worryingly goes to Nakia and as Calantha is there with her Erik is trying to fight Calantha. Calantha moves Nakia to a safe corner and leans her against the wall.
Nakia places a hand on Calantha’s shoulder. “You need to finish this fight.”
Calantha placed a finger to her chest, “me? But why me?”
“Because you are a hero. You can save Wakanda. I believe in you.”
Calantha looked to the dining room area where Erik was at and nodded her head in determination. “Wait here, this won’t take too long.” Calantha cracked her knuckles and suddenly shape shifted into a rhino. She ran fast to Erik, Erik was enticing her, opening his arms like if this was a game. “So you can shape shift into animals and humans. Dam* too bad you couldn’t be used in something more...bad.”
Calantha ran to him and tried piercing him with her horn. But he dodged and instead hopped on the side of her. She was messing the whole room up! She trampled everything trying to get Erik off her side. Finally, Erik pushed his leg to hit her stomach and that sent her falling over. Calantha quickly turned into herself and grabbed her rifle.
Erik already had blood on his face and cuts and bruises. Calantha was out of breath, her hair all disheveled and cuts and bruises on her too.
“Why did you do this to me? You know I thought we had something special. I thought you was the one. But nah, you gotta prove to me that your like everyone else in this world. A liar!”
Calantha shot her rifle at him a couple of times and screamed, “I am not! Okay yes Erik your childhood, what T’Chaka did to you was extremely wrong. We are imperfect, my childhood was not easy. At least you had a father, I didn’t have either. I have been all alone all my life! But you don’t see me wanting to hurt others, no! No, I put my pain and heartache in protecting people, strangers. Just because something bad happens to you Erik doesn’t mean you gotta take it out on the world.”
Erik took his mask off, “Its not just the world! Its my pop, he was everything that I had. You didn’t know your fam, you didn’t know your dad so you don’t know how it feels like to lose someone.”
Calantha had tears in her eyes and she was shocked, “me? Don’t know how it feels to lose someone? I lost everybody I ever love in my life. All my friends outlived me and died while I was still breathing. I can’t die, Erik! So everyone I love, Nakia, this beautiful place, everyone I ever loved, will be gone but you know what I will still be here to go through all their deaths. This would of never worked out Erik...Because I could never watch the person that I love die while I still keep going on. Its just too much for me.”
Erik walked up to her and grabbed her hands, “I know you didn’t want to do this. But I ain’t got no choice.” Erik bent down and placed his forehead against hers and kissed her lips again. Calantha welcomed it and realized she was too in love with this man. She was in love with him too deep already and she didn’t know how to come out. She needed to make sure that Erik would be okay. Calantha quickly got a injection out of her pocket and stabbed Erik in his neck.
“What the f-” Erik then fell.
Nakia came running from the corner, “did you do it? Did you put the lethal injection in him?”
Calantha nodded, “he is better than gone.”
Nakia hugged Calantha and thanked her. “I have word my friend that they have found T’Challa!”
Calantha laughed and nodded, “I’m so happy. I’m glad I could help. Let me just take care of this,” she pointed to Erik.
Nakia nodded and left. While Calantha ran to the waterfall and dropped him there. “Goodbye Erik, I know you were fighting because you were hurt. I’m sorry.”
In Calantha’s spaceship the beautiful melody of “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles was playing at a low tone. She read her books about mythology and their wonders. Ate her snacks and just relaxed. She then heard a groan. Smirking to herself she got up and swiftly walked over to the groan. “Hey sleepy head, how you feeling?”
A figure moves from the sheets and stands tall and high, “like shi*, where did you throw me again?”
Calantha chuckled and kissed his lips, “the waterfall. I put the heater on in here to get you warm.”
Erik wore a grey hoodie and some sweat pants, with black socks. Calantha wore her jeans, hoodie and adidas. “You look good in that Calantha,” Erik complimented her.
Calantha held his hand and brought him to a chair next to hers.
“So where are we going baby?” Erik asked, embracing Calantha from behind.
Calantha shrugs, “anywhere.”

Stefan Salvatore Imagine: “I’m Sorry..”
(I’m sorry for not posting in a while, but I had a bit of writer’s block. This is something that came to me the other day. Know this is more of a daughter father imagine, and not a Stefan imagine. But I there is some Stefan fluff. This is also an alternate universe imagine. Now one to the imagine.)
What You Are Wearing
You get out of the car and stare at the building/house you never thought you would ever see again. The house that holds so many dark and bereaved memories. The same one you promised yourself and a special loved one that you would never return unless you thought it would be necessary to return back to. You never thought you had to keep that promise until now.
“Hey I am right by your side if anything happens.” Stefan says as he turns you around. “I don’t care if he is an original Damon and I will keep you safe. Always and forever, for an eternally until I die.” He says as he kiss your forehead as Damon gets out of the car as well.
You nod my head and open the gate to the one place you never thought you would enter. You walk through and you instantly start to listen to see if he is here, and where you could find him without having to run into the two people you don’t want to see nor cross paths with.
“You don’t get it ‘Lijah….” he stops at the head of the stairs as soon as he sees you.
“(Y/N)” ‘Lijah says as he engulfs you in a hug as soon as he down the stairs. “I am relieved that you are in one piece.”
“ ‘Lijah is he here?” you ask as you pull back from the hug.
“What in gods name are you doing here with them!” Nik answers before Elijah can even answer.
“ ‘Lijah please tell me he is fine.” you ask your voice breaking at the end.
“ He’s holding up, but I believe the only one that can truly make him happy besides Davina is yourself.” “Father asked you a question.” Hope calls from the top of the stairs.
“I care about his question about the same that I care about you.” You answer as you look at her for a split second before turning back to Elijah. “Do you know where he is?”
“I do believe that I asked a question!”
“We are both here because she asked us to come. Does that happen to answer your question?” Damon responds with the signature Salvatore smirk.
“Klaus we aren’t looking for trouble we are just here for (Y/N).”
“I can’t believe you were stupid enough to socialize yourself with Daddy’s enemies.” Hope responds as she stands beside her father.
“I don’t think we asked for your opinion, and by the way me and Stefan may have our arguments but we have always known the the definition of family. Something that ‘Your Daddy” has taught you as well. I would’ve ripped my heart out if I would’ve been (Y/N). ” Damon replies with a snicker.
“You don’t talk to my daughter like that. Leave!” he says as he gets in their face and wraps a hand around Damon neck.
You chant a spell and the vines lengthen from the sides of the house and separate Niklaus from Damon. The vines root themselves to the ground and hold him to the ground like chains. “If you as lay a hand on either of them Niklaus you will regret it, and that’s a promise not a threat.” You say in an icy tone as you walk closer to him. He looks astonished as he looks down at the ground. “I am not here to see nor talk to you I am simply here because one person out of the few that I immensely cherish needs me. Which is the only reason I would walk into this godforsaken place. You won’t see me for long, and I won’t stay here and you won’t see us for long anyway. You stay out of our way and we stay out yours.”
“How did you do this?” he asks
“Unlike you someone there was someone out there willing to teach me get my powers under control. Not that this is any of your business.”
“You’re still the same spitfire I remeber you to be.” You hear that one voice that you were so concerned about.
“Dad!” you well out as you run to him. He catches you in his arms and engulfs you in a big hug. “I’m glad your Ok.”
“I’m glad you’re here.” He says as he pulls you closer into his chest. “Oh and I believe that she would’ve wanted you to have this.” he says as he pulls out something from his pocket. He hands it to you and you open the bag only to realize what was in there.
“Her locket.” you say as you turn around and he hooks it together for you. “I really missed you.” you say as you turn back around and embrace him again.
“I did to bug. I did to bug.” he answers as he wraps his arms around you
You walk out of your dad’s room and walk down the stairs.
“How’s he holding up?” Stefan asks as he takes you in his arms
“He’s holding himself together as anyone would after they realized they drained their one true love of their blood. I just can’t believe that she’s gone. Actually gone.” You say as Stefan holds you tighter. “I know she wasn’t my mom, but she was the closest thing I had to a mom after Haley was killed. She helped Kol raise me, and I just can’t believe she died.”
Stefan pulls away and lifts your chin up. “I know what it is you’re going through and I am right here to help you through this. Just know that it only gets better from here, and she didn’t leave you entirely she will always be alive in your heart, in your memory, and in your essence. No matter what she will always be with you.” he kisses your forehead and offers you his hand as he pulls away “Now how about we go somewhere.”
You smile and take his hand in yours. You leads you out to the car and you both climb in and smile as he drives off. “Where are we going?”
“To do something we haven’t done in a while.” he answers as he begins to drive out of the outskirts of town.
You lean your head against the window and decide that Stefan is right. Weather Davina is dead or alive she will always live in my heart and my memories. You just weren’t ready to let her go, though. That’s when something or someone came into your head.
“Where is Damon?”
“Elena called and something is wrong back home. She told him to stay, but being Damon he had to be sure that she was safe. That it wasn’t anything serious. He said “Tell (y/n) that I am deeply sorry, and to call me if she wants me to kill them.”” You smile and chuckle knowing that he would stay true to his word. If anything he would personally come and murder one of them you would personally complain about something that they said.
“You would’ve done the same if I was on the other end of that phone. So I understand why he left.” You take his hand in yours. “Plus I still have the handsome Salvatore brother with me.”
He chuckles and smiles. “You know it!”
That’s when he takes a turn and stops the car. You didn’t notice that he had turned on some dirt road, and you were in a field. He climbs out of the car and opens yours. You climb out of the car and he pulls out a blanket from the back of the car. He lays it on the ground and he lays on top of it and you lay beside him. “I decided since we hadn’t seen in the stars since when we first started dating. That it was the time we did it again.”
You smile and cuddle up to him loving the idea of being close to him. “You are an incredible person. You know that? You know what to say and what to do to get my mind off the situations that we are in.”
“Anything for the one that I love.”
“You know what I have been thinking about?” he looks down at you and shakes his head. “I was thinking about taking you up on that offer. After we are done here with my Dad how about we go and visit Europe?”
“That would be amazing. We could get away from the drama of Mystic Falls and New Orleans.” he says with a smile. “But I have a question. What did Klaus do to make you hate him so much?”
You look down at your hands as you begin to recall the events. “My Kol isn’t my real father. He’s the one that raised me and treated me like I was such when my father didn’t. My biological father didn’t care about me the way he should have. He cared more about his first born then me. I wasn’t supposed to be born anyway. I was convinced in a one night stand when my biological father and my mom were too drunk to know what they were doing. When my mom found out she was happy to know that she going to have another child. He, on the other hand, wasn’t as happy. She knew that he would react that way. He didn’t seem to care about anyone but his first born. My mom thought that he would change once he I would be born. He didn’t though he after I was born he was disappointed and ashamed of me because I was human. My uncle was the one that helped her throughout the pregnancy and helped her after I was born. Then when I was about five years of age my mom died protecting me. My uncle was on his way to help her, but he was too late. I saw my mom murdered right in front of me. When my uncle walked in he saw me cuddled up next to my mom’s dead corpse.” he wipes off the tears I didn’t realize that had fallen. “You’re probably thinking what Klaus has to do with all of this.” he nods. “Klaus is my biological father, Hope is his first born daughter, my sister, Haley is my mom, and Kol is my uncle that helped my mom throughout her pregnancy Elijah did as well, but my mom said that Kol was smitten over me even before I was born. After she died in her will she named Kol as my legal guardian, and if one day he wanted to adopt me, she signed the legal documents with her lawyer for him to do so. Klaus began to fight with everyone that he was my father, therefore, he should have custody of me. Mom’s lawyer then showed him the document that stated that he had given mom full custody of me. He also told Klaus that they weren’t married so this document means my mom could decide who would be my guardian. He then argued that he didn’t even remember signing the document. Elijah then told him that he was there and when mom had gone to do talk to him about my custody. He said he didn’t care, and when mom presented him the document he had signed it without reading it. Because he had been busy with hope and wanted to get rid of her. Kol then added that he had never shown interest in being my father. That Hope had always came before me, and the only reason that he had wanted me was because he couldn’t stand someone having what’s rightfully his. But in this case, I was never his to have, but my mom’s. Elijah then told me that Kol didn’t even blink when he said he would sign the adoption papers. Since then it has always been Kol and I. Up until he meet Davina. She then treated me like a friend, but I saw her like a second mother, even if she was 19 when she died. Kol and Davina were the ones that helped me with my powers when they started to make a presence. It was only then that Klaus started to show an interest in me, and tried like the father he was Hope. I fell for it only to find out that he was just using me to get what he wanted I believe I was 15 at the time. I then stayed up until I was 18 when I decided to move out, and you know the rest.” You finish as you look up at him.
“I knew Klaus was a self-centered vampire that only cared about himself, but I never knew that he would treat his own daughter like that. After what I’ve seen I know he cares about Hope and it’s heartbreaking that he can’t treat you the same way.”
“That’s one of the reasons why the very thought of him enrages me because he could love Hope. Why couldn’t he love me? I asked him when I was younger and he simply said because I was human and useless. Once I started getting my powers he saw an interest in me, because he could use me. I thought he was being genuine, but he wasn’t. Kol told me to be careful, but I didn’t. I did everything he said and when I was done he threw me to the side like I was a toy he didn’t want to play with anymore. It hurt, and after yet again Kol was there to put the pieces back together. That’s when I decided to leave. I couldn’t stay and watch him love Hope in the way that he could have loved me.”
“You don’t need Klaus in your life because you have a family without him. I don’t know about the rest of the Mikaelson’s but I do know that Kol and Elijah really do care about you, but Kol if he could he would sacrifice himself for you if you were ever in danger. I saw the love in his eyes when he saw you. He doesn’t see you as a niece but like you just explained as a daughter. I never thought I would see the day that Kol Mikaelson would care for someone besides himself. He does and as you also said you are his family and he is yours. You also have an uncle that would kill anyone that would dare lay a finger on his niece, and a father that would be blood crazed if anyone were to hurt his little girl.” He says as he looks into your eyes. “Now not only do you have them, but also a witch would use her magic to help you. A werewolf that will tear anyone to shreds if they dared to hurt you. Two human friends that will do anything to help you even if it meant dying. A vampire friend that is extremely fierce to help you with any problem head on. A Salvatore brother who is impulsive enough to help your father and uncle murder the person that hurt you. And the other Salvatore brother who would give up his life for you because he will always and forever love you for an eternity for as long as you shall live. That would rip anyone to shreds and rip their heart out if they dared to lay a finger on you to hurt you because he loves you and would do anything if meant you would survive.” He pulls you closer to him. “We all care about you and love you. You don’t need Klaus because you have all of us.” he says as he kisses you. Even though it had been a couple of hours since he last kissed you. You had missed the way his soft lips moved against yours.
“I love you always and forever for an eternity.” you respond against his lips…
You move closer to the warmth you have found, and sigh contently. You didn’t remember your bed being this hard and uncomfortable. You open your eyes slowly and instead of your old bedroom your eyes are met with the civil twilight. You sit up straight and shake Stefan. He instantly wakes up and he is as surprised as you are.
“We fell asleep, and we need to get back.” Your answer and your nods. You fold the blanket and climb in the car. He turns it on and you are off back into the city.
“Do you think Kol might murder me?” he says as he makes a right turn on the highway.
“No.” you chuckle. “He likes you, not much, but he does. He just won’t admit it.” you intertwine your hands together as you smile.
The rest of the way back to the Mikaelson mansion is filled with a comfortable silence…
“DO you think Niklaus will be mad?” Stefan asks a couple of blocks from the mansion.
“No he was probably too busy with Hope to even notice that I was gone the whole night.” you reply as he turns the car off and you both climb out of the car.
You both walk through the gates and are meet with your family. Kol instantly takes you in his arms and breathes a sigh of relief. “Thank god you’re ok.” he says as you hug him back as well. “Can you just let me know the next time you go out. I was worried sick.”
“Sorry, dad. You had fallen asleep and I didn’t want to wake you. Stefan decided to take me out, and we ended falling asleep.” You reply as you pull away. “ ‘Lijah had gone with Rebekah and Freya to visit mom.”
“It’s ok just text me or write me a note next time.”
“That’s all no punishment or lecture? We were up all night worried sick not knowing where you had gone or if you were even alive for that matter. Only to find out that you had spent the night with him! Explain!” Klaus booms
“You aren’t my father so I don’t have to explain anything. He has a name, and his name is Stefan. Now if my memory serves me properly you already knew that.”
“I am your-”
“No, you are the father of Hope Mikaelson your precious hybrid daughter that is so important you. My parents are Hayley Marshall and most importantly Kol Mikaelson. You are nothing but a sperm donor that out of a one night stand I was convinced. That is all. Biologically you are, but being a father is more than contributing to making a baby. It is about giving your baby the support and love it needs. Making them feel loved and always being there for them when they need you. You have done none of that. Therefore you are not my father. So excuse me if I don’t owe you anything.” You say in a calm tone that shocks everyone. You turn to your aunts and uncle. “It’s good to see all you, but we’re tired.” you turn to your father. “I’ll be in my old bedroom if you need me.” he nods and turns to leave before you notice something that you have forgotten to do. You take Stefan by hand and walk up to your father. “Stefan this is my father Kol Mikaelson, my uncle Elijah Mikaelson, My aunts Rebekah and Freya Mikaelson, dad this is Stefan Salvatore my boyfriend of 3 years.”
Kol smiles and shakes Stefan’s hand. “I’ve heard a lot about you, and I’m glad your keeping my daughter safe, but you shatter her heart and I’ll rip yours out.” he threatens
Stefan smiles and shakes his hand. “I don’t plan to.”
You smile and take his hand and lead him up to your room.
You shut the door behind you quietly, after putting on one of his shirts and a pair of his boxers, not wanting to wake Stefan and walk down to the library your dad had built for you. You walk through the door and smile. You look around and find everything in its place. You had grimoires and books of all kind in this very place. You pick one of the self and take a sit on the leather couch and begin to read.
“I knew I’d find you here.” you don’t have to look up to know who that is. “I wanted to talk to you.”
“We don’t have nothing to talk about Klaus.” you answer not looking up from the book, but curious as to what he has to say.
“You don’t have to talk, just listen.”
“Did I mention that I don’t want to hear you either.” You reply
“Look I take back everything that I have done to you-”
“No You can’t, and there is nothing that you say that I want to listen to.” You say shutting book as you get up and begin to walk out.
“I’m sorry for always putting Hope before you.” you freeze in your spot. “I’m sorry for using you when you were younger, and not always being there for when you really need me. I should be the one to change your diapers and feed you. I should’ve been the one to take you to school, and been at your art showing. I should’ve been the one to help you study for your tests. The one that should’ve gone to the conferences. The one that should’ve taken care of you when you were sick. The one that should’ve threatened the boys away. The one that should’ve been there for you when the boys broke your heart. The one that should’ve supported and cared about you when Hayley died. I regret everything I did to hurt you, and everything that I did to make you hate me. Most of all I regret not being the father you deserved to have. I’m sorry…”
You turn around and face him. “You’re too late. I’m sorry are just words. No matter what you say it will always be Hope before me. I needed you when I started to get my powers and you weren’t there for me. I always thought that maybe if got them under control then maybe just maybe you would look at me. That I could get your attention, and maybe one day you would look at me the way you do when you look at Hope. I started studying harder and practicing more than I should’ve with the help of Davina. Then you suddenly started showing interest, and I worked harder. I was almost hospitalized because I was working my body harder than I should have, but I didn’t care. When I finally got them under control and you started to ask me for help. I was over the moon. I even told Kol that I was so close to getting you to love me. That finally after so many years you were paying attention. He told me to be careful, but I said that you had changed. Then you shared me. You wiped me away from your life after you got what you wanted. You didn’t care. I thought that I was wrong, but when I woke up the next morning and things were how they were before I knew you didn’t care the slightest bit about me. That you had used me. Kol was there to pick up the pieces. Yet that wasn’t the worst thing you had done. After my mother died you weren’t there for me. You didn’t come to read me stories to get my mind off what had happened. You didn’t come into my room when I woke up screaming in the room because I had relived my mother’s death in my sleep every night. No instead you blamed me for killing Hope’s mother. You blamed me for killing my mom, and for being at fault for your daughter’s sadness. Thanks to you my sister hate me probably more or about the same as you.” you say as you walk closer to him. “I apologize but you’re too late. The only father I know as my own is Kol Mikaelson. You just so happened to be the one who helps my mom with my existence. Everything you have just said you have told me before. So I’m sorry if I don’t believe a word you are saying.” You reply as you turn on your heel and walk out. “Your actions speak louder words.”
“Then I will let my actions speak louder than my words, and I will do everything in my power to earn your forgiveness.” he says as you reach your bedroom.
You smile as you open your door, but wipe the smile off. You didn’t want to get your hopes up only to be disappointed again. Yet something inside you was telling you that this time was different.

Title: Together Forever
Summary: It’s Katherine and Elijah’s wedding day. Mad Love series part 5.
Couple: Katherine and Elijah
K & E Please join us for the wedding of Katherine Pierce and Elijah Mikaelson ___________________________ One the eighth day of November, twenty-twenty-one at ten o’clock in the morning The Fearrington House Inn 2000 Fearrington Village Center, Pittsboro, NC Wedding will be outdoors and reception will be indoors
xXx
On a crisp and beautiful autumn day, dozens of people rushed around attempting to get their jobs done. For anyone else, it was just early November, but it was much more than that for a few. Today was the day Elijah Mikaelson and Katherine Pierce were to swear themselves to each for eternity.
Compelled workers ran every which way, both indoors and out. Setting up the reception area, putting tablecloths on tables, arranging flowers, setting chairs, just getting everything done and in place. There were still a couple hours left but still so much to set up.
The outdoor setting where the actual wedding was going to take place was mostly done. A final few chairs had to be placed, along with the aisle of fall leaves, and it would be finished. The reception area was a different story. The cake had yet to arrive, the caterer called in sick, someone had tripped and broken several glasses, and the white table clothes had gotten red wine spilt on them. To put it, everything was a disaster.
Katherine paced back and forth in the hotel room she rented to get herself dressed. She was beyond nervous, and now at the point of freaking out. Her hair was pulled up in a cute curly updo. Her makeup had a sexy yet girly tone. She sported a french manicure on both her toenails and fingernails. She was looking gorgeous. All she needed was to shed the silk robe and place herself in her dress, add the final accessories, and she would be done.
"Why is everything failing? Is this heaven actually punishing me?" The bride complained, falling onto the bed.
"Careful, Kat, your hair!" Caroline exclaimed, pulling the distressed girl to her feet.
"There are some minor setbacks." Davina murmured, unsure about the situation outside.
"Minor! Nothing is going right. There is no cake, no food, the glass is broken, and the tablecloths are ruined!" The curly haired girl cried out.
"Oh, yeah, this is a disaster." The nineteen-year-old witch agreed, grimacing at the blonde's glare. She shrugged at her and sat down.
Caroline, Freya, Davina, and Rebekah were Katherine's bridal party. All four had gorgeous floor length, claret-coloured dresses whose sleeves were off the shoulder. They paired the dress with three different hairstyles and matching black heels. Their necklaces and earrings matched each other too. They were a gift from the bride to her party.
In a short time, Katherine grew close with Davina and Freya. She had always liked Caroline's company. Rebekah hadn't been the worst once they got to know each other. The blonde Original couldn't deny that her brother loved the doppelganger, so she made an effort to be nice. Apparently, it worked on both ends.
"Katherine, dear, you need to calm down. Rebekah is out there right now with the boys." Freya took a seat next to the panicked bride, placing a hand on her back attempting to comfort her.
"Let's get you dressed instead," Caroline suggested. A sigh of agreement came from Katherine, so her bridal party got to work.
The curly haired brunette stepped into her white lace gown and pulled it up. Freya fastened it in the back while Davina slid the white lace fingerless wrist gloves onto Katherine's hands. Caroline put the diamond drop earrings on the bride. Then, did the clasp on the silver locket. It was a gift from Elijah back when they were dating the first time. It had her June birthstone and his August stone. Their names engraved on the inside.
Once the bride was all dressed up, the bridesmaids sat back and admired their work. Putting on the wedding gown and accessories did not cease her worries. Now, she was just going to have a harder time pacing around in panic mode.
"Maybe I should just go out there. See what needs to be done. Or go find Elijah." Katherine threw around a few options, standing up, brushing her dress.
"NO!" The three bridesmaids screamed. Caroline flew in front of the door to block the girl.
"Why not?" The blocked girl asked, looking at her friends.
"It's bad luck to see the bride. Elijah can't see you! Especially not in the dress!" Davina cried out in explanation, causing the blondes to collectively nod.
"Are you serious. One, Elijah knows what I look like. That rule was made for arranged marriages of people who weren't going to meet until their big day. Two, this day is already cursed, how can it get worse? And lastly, I want to see my fiance because he makes me feel better when I get worked up. Now, let me pass." Katherine was not having any wedding superstitions. She wanted to see her groom and if she had to resort to using her magic to do so, she would.
xXx
Elijah stared at his reflection in the mirror. He was fully dressed in his tuxedo, vest, and tie. He could hear people panicking around the Inn. Kol, Klaus, and Finn left to figure out what was happening and if they could help. Hope and the twins, bless their hearts, were trying to help the adults. The groom was left alone to wait and wonder.
He heard the door to the room open. Turning around, hoping to see a sibling of his with news, he saw Hayley instead. She walked into the room, heaven knows how she got a key. Her hair was done nicely to the side and she sported a beautiful dark blue dress with matching flats.
"Hayley, what are you doing here?" Elijah questioned his ex, staring at her quizzically.
"I had to drop Hope off and deal with the fact that I couldn't even get an invitation to this event." The hybrid girl explained, closing the door behind her. "I wanted to see you, Elijah. To talk to you."
"Hayley, I really don't have much to say back. I told you how sorry I was and that I wasn't leading you on." The suited Original told her bluntly. She bounced her head to the side with an annoyed look.
"Elijah, please. Don't do this." Hayley begged, placing her hands on his chest.
"Hayley," He began, looking to the side.
"No, Elijah. I love you, you love me. We have something special, had it since the day we met. Don't throw this away for a girl that you hate more than you love." She leaned up and forced the groom into a kiss.
A gasp was heard from the doorway. Two heads whipped around to see Katherine with tears in her eyes. As quickly as she was there, she was gone. Running away from the room. Elijah tried to run after her but was stopped by the hybrid in denial.
"Hayley, let go of me. While I did have deep feelings for you, I love that woman. That woman that you just made me hurt by not taking a hint. We may have had something, but that is over. When you were going to marry Jackson, I let you go to find happiness elsewhere. You need to do that now or leave." He explained patiently, with a tone of anger in his voice. He yanked Hayley's hand off his arm and ran after his bride.
The groom searched everywhere for his beloved. He hoped she was still on the property. Though, with her immense deity powers that came with being the devil, she could be anywhere in the world. Maybe even in hell. With a sigh of defeat, he leaned against the bark of a pretty autumn tree and closed his eyes.
The sound of slight crying, resembling his bride's caused his eyes to snap open. His head remained on its resting place, so the first place he looked was up the tree. Up in the branches, he spotted the love of his life. She was barefoot and in her gorgeous wedding dress.
"Katerina." He whispered up to her. Her watery eyes looked down at his face. Her poor makeup was ruined and her hair had a leaf or two in it.
"Go away. Go be with the werewolf. She's better for you." The girl whimpered, pulling her knees closer to her chest. She wanted to be angry, but all she could feel was sadness.
"Katerina, come down." He tried coaxing her down, but the stubborn bride-to-be stayed in the tree branches.
"No. Now go away." His bride hissed at him.
"Kat, please don't make me come up there. You know I am afraid of heights." Elijah complained lightly.
"That's why I am up here." She explained plainly.
"Fine." He nodded in defeat. Looking at the ground both ways, he took a soft on the cold, damp ground. "Look, I know you are mad at me, but you have to know; Hayley kissed me. I didn't kiss back. I would never do that to you. How many times do I have to prove to you that I love you and I am not going back to her."
"But, it is probably for best. Are wedding is cursed. Nothing is going right today. If that isn't a sign to not get married, I don't know what is." Katherine slid down the tree, jumping onto the ground. She knew that she looked like a mess, and was afraid to go back to her room to see herself.
"Katerina," Elijah stood up, placing both his hands on her cheeks, lifting her head up so he could look her in the eye. "I love you to your home and back. I don't care is God himself comes down and curses our entire marriage. I am marrying you today. Regardless of the cake or broken bottles or missing food or ruined tablecloths. Even if it starts pouring lightning and a fire tornado emerges to destroy us. We are getting married."
"Wow, if that all happens, we'd be really dumb to not listen." Katherine laughed, smiling through the disaster of makeup.
"Okay, so if that all happens, we will just get married another day," Elijah smirked. He leaned into her and captured her lips. "But I want to marry you. I'd like it to be today, but I can wait."
"I want to marry you, too." She whispered, hugging his chest.
"By the way, you look stunning. That dress is the most beautiful wedding dress in history." He mumbled into her hair.
"You're lying. I look disgusting. I'm a mess." The brunette girl complained.
"No, you look perfect. Now, let's get you to your bridal party to fix your makeup. We have to get married soon." Elijah grabbed her hand and the two made their way back to the Inn.
"I can't believe you want to spend the rest of your immortal life with me." Katherine shook her head, looking at her groom.
"After today, we will be together forever." The Original wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "You better get used to this."
"Let's get started on our eternity, then." The devil smiled lovingly at her fiance as he returned the gaze. They really were forever.

Warnings: spoilers, inappropriate comments
This is one hell of an episode – action-packed, thrilling and above all, sparkling with the familial love and solidarity of the Mikaelson clan. They’re truly the strongest when they fight for their family.
It once again reinforces my belief (not that it needs any reinforcing) that The Originals has a superior team of writers than The Vampire Diaries It’s unfair if The Originals only has 4 seasons (Ms. Plec ‘kindly’ mentioned something about there will be no fifth season in an interview) while The Vampire Diaries managed to sprout 8 while it should have ended after the train wreck that was the fifth.
Anw, back to this gem episode.
I kinda feel sorry (but not too sorry) for the guy Kol ate…
… or the entire bus they chowed down. “I’m so hungry I could eat a whole bus” taken very literally. Five years of no eating does takes it toll.
Did Hayley grab a few bites of her own?
Elijah’s shouting for Kol to eat less noisily like a big brother and Kol, actually hearing him or just coincidentally snapping his victim’s neck
I have a feeling that Kol does enjoy the scream a bit more than considered healthy.
Am I the only one to wonder why Elijah sort of cradles the dead body (presumably drained by him)?
Proper family squabbles. How I miss these?
Kol not so subtly reminds the producers not to kill him the friggin’ THIRD time.
Elijah’s shutting down the arguments by his vow: “We’ll free Niklaus today. Even if I have to burn that city to the ground.” Determined big-brother Elijah is the best Elijah.
See the brief proud look on Freya’s face?
“If we can’t free him, we’ll sure avenge him”. Sorry, wrong quote.
Anw, the vampire Avengers are advancing to New Orleans. Marcel’d better be beware.
Somewhere in Nola, Josh’s having a new, very human and undoubtedly clueless about the supernatural world boyfriend. It won’t bode well for him in the long run. I hope he fares better than Aiden. If he doesn’t, well…
Josh’s expression when seeing Elijah and Rebekah is similar to a person waking up to see two tigers lounging about in his home. His reaction is similar too – staying calm, no sudden movement so as not to provoke them while secretly trying to grab his phone and call 911…
… which is what Josh does, and fails, because one of the ‘tiger’ has a “murderous hunger” that can’t be appeased with pizzas. Duh.
And there’s Marbekah/Rebel argument in the graveyard. I’ve never doubted that Marcel genuinely loves Rebekah (even though he loathes her brothers to death) and Rebekah feels the same. I just love it even more that despite her love, Rebekah chooses her brothers over Marcel because that’s basically what the Mikaelsons and The Originals do, unlike The Vampire Diaries which tended to put way too much emphasis on romance. I cringe every time I read that Matt x Rebekah was cute and how big a waste to let that ship sink. To me it’s just a big, fat yuck that Rebekah had some affection and slept with the one that murdered her brother. And before someone kindly reminds me that Elijah was way too friendly with Elena, Kol’s murderer, I have to make myself clear that it grossed me as well.
Well, let what happened in The Vampire Diaries stay in The Vampire Diaries.
Sofya just has to interrupt Bex’s emotional speech, doesn’t she? Someone needs to remind her a certain Original absolutely hates backstabbing; she’ll pay back in one way or another.
The family’s casually discussing murder in Josh’s presence like he’s thin air
While the rest tries to find a way to break Klaus’s prison, Josh and Kol have a heart-to-heart conversation, or the closet thing to a heart-to-heart conversion, about losing someone they loved. It’d be quite a moment if it weren’t for Marcel’s text and Kol’s right back to threats of murders and destruction.
Josh was lucky Davina really liked him though.
Kol’s tearing through the vampire mooks like they are wet papers for Bex. Vampire mooks: 0, Originals: 1
Someone has anger management issues.
Hearing Elijah saying “brother” with both worry and relief lacing his tone is too much for my Klelijah
Hayley’s offering her power for Freya to channel to break the boundary spell while Elijah standing watch. Teamwork in its finest form.
Elijah’s facing Marcel alone to buy Freya some time despite Marcel’s hatred for him running the deepest
Hayley’s stepping in to protect Elijah, claiming once again to be a Mikaelson
… which of course enrages Marcel as the real reason for Marcel’s bitterness and wrath was because he felt he wasn’t treated as a Mikaelson.
Behold, Klaus’s incredible feat of pulling out Papa Tunde’s blade by himself (plus his subconscious Cami’s help). Almost as good as Mikael, who plucked it out not long after getting stabbed and with no imaginary soulmate’s encouragement. Klaus’ll get better next time for sure.
Klaus’s falling right into Elijah’s arms. Be still my Klelijah
Kolbekah moment followed by Klebekah hug followed by…
The whole family standing united against Marcel. #squad_goals
“That’s what family does. We fight for each other.” Kudos for Hayley.
And “If you want to kill one of us, you’ll have to kill us all.” Kudos for Rebekah.
Just to rub some salt onto the wound is Kol’s sassy remark…
… definitely not a very wise move because, well, considering Marcel could kill them all, why feeds his wrath more?
Actually, I believe it’s Marcel who was gonna lose if he and the Mikaelsons engaged in a full-out battle. Just think this strategy: Elijah, Rebekah and Hayley would fight Marcel (more like stalling him) while Kol and Klaus would protect Freya and probably let her channel them to cast some spell. Remember the sigil she’d created to trap Lucien last season? And Marcel, unbacked by the Ancestors, wouldn’t be able to fight it. Maybe not something of that scale since Freya’s pretty drained after freeing Klaus but a lesser spell to hinder Marcel’s movement would suffice, no?
Anw, no fighting happens as Marcel decides to ‘show mercy’ because he isn’t like the Mikaelsons. Who’re you kiddin’ Marcel? Anyone surviving to this point of the show with them is just like them. He just needs a few situations to see that…
… which the mysterious blue light and threat to the city would happily provide. Vincent’s up to some serious shit this season. Just don’t die along the way, ‘kay?
Klaus’s watching Hope in her peaceful sleep instead of waking her
Last but not least (more like saving the best for last), it’s Cami friggin’ O’Connell. I don’t care if she remains dead, I don’t care if she’s a figment of Klaus’s imagination, what matters is she is with Klaus in his darkest, loneliest hours to give him the strength to break his bondage. Klaus has conjured her to be his sole companion during his days of suffering, and more importantly, Klaus, having known Cami so well, has created this version of Cami that is very much similar to the original Cami; she isn’t afraid of his temper, and she challenges Klaus to face and triumph over his demons. She has literally become a part of Klaus per his promise: “I will carry you with me.” She has gained immortality inside his mind, where nothing or no one could lay a finger on her again. I admit, what she and Klaus have isn’t love. It transcends love to become something much greater, much more lasting. Love fades over time but once you let somebody get a spot in your mind, they’ll stay for as long as you live, and in Klaus’s case, possibly eternity. I’ve always felt Klaus and Cami’s relationship to lean more on spiritual side and this just proves it.
Overally, an excellent episode. Looking forward to Klaus and Hope’s first proper reunion next episode.
